Originally from Colorado, Dr. Meier earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, prior to attending medical school in the Midwest. She returned to Southern California to complete her medical training through the Long Beach Memorial Residency Program affiliated with UCI Medical School. Dr. Meier is dedicated to being a compassionate physician who educates and helps her patients achieve and maintain a healthy life-style. Along with the wide range of medical concerns she sees as a family medicine physician, she also has particular interests in women’s health and sports medicine.
Dr. Meier believes in practicing her healthy lifestyle by enjoying time running, playing tennis, mountain and road biking, and playing golf. She is currently the head physician for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), for all Southern California professional tournaments

Dr. Meier and her staff are so pleasant and I get in and out in a timely manner. They always remind me if I need refills on my medication. I really appreciate their concerns and care. She is very thorough. I was sent to have an ultrasound and completed this today and my blood test tomorrow. I have all the paperwork I need and making the appointments went very smooth.

I first met Dr. Meier during an urgent care visit. At the time, I did not have a primary care physician. As soon as I met Dr. Meier, I knew I found my new PCP! Dr. Meier truely cares about and respects her patients. She listens with an open mind and has never made me feel judged. I feel comfortable asking or discussing anything with Dr. Meier. She is truely a breath of fresh air and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her! Dr. Meier should receive recognition for her Simply Better care.
