I really liked the doctor but not the nurse. Nurse was super unfriendly and other nurse brought in wrong instrument doctor asked for. Dr was great but equipment looked outdated and not clean.

Any HMO plans that require additional documentation must be present at your appointment time. Failure to do this could result in a rescheduled appointment. (i.e.- Referrals/authorizations)
Please also have your insurance card, ID, recent medical records that may pertain to your visit, any CT/MRI scans on a disk, lab results and any medications that you’re currently taking.
Appointments related to hearing, clogged sensation in ears, or ringing in the ears may require an audio exam with the MD visit. These appointments will need to be scheduled with our office directly to evaluate your concerns.
As part of our contract with the insurance companies, we are legally required to collect any co-pays or deductibles from you at the time of service. We ask that you be prepared to pay your copay at the time of check-in prior to being seen by our providers.
Our staff will review your demographic and insurance information with you to ensure we maintain your correct information on file. This allows us to submit claims to your insurance carrier in a timely manner.
A staff member will contact you by phone, email or text before your appointment to obtain any information needed for your appointment with the physician. If we are unable to complete this step, it may result in a rescheduled appointment.

Dr. Requena is wonderful at listening and very thorough in figuring out what treatment is needed and communicating it in a way that is understandable.
His diagnosis/treatment have been accurate for me since I have become his patient in 2020. I will not use/see another ENT. I value his opinion and trust in his decisions. It is also fairly easy to get an appointment if you have an emergency. They office staff is accommodating and friendly. I have always been seen when needed and within a timely manner. Dr. Requena is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.

My visit with this doctor was frustrating. He politely considered possibilities for about ten minutes before saying the cause is unknown but “this is just something some people deal with.” My advice: find someone who gives more than ten minutes before giving up.

Excellent Doctor. I have been with him since 2003. He saved my life by finding and coordinating my treatment for a head and neck cancer. He continues to monitor my care through the various after affects of radiation and chemo. I highly recommend him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Requena since the early 2000s. He is an awesome doctor. I lived in Nashville for a few years and saw another ENT that insisted I have sinus surgery due to sinus blockage. I moved back to the area just a few months after that (without having the surgery) and had Dr. Requena review and he stated he saw nothing that would warrant him performing surgery. I have and would highly recommend Dr. Requena!
