Dr. Alexander attended Howard University College of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree and then matriculated to the Howard University Department of Surgery where he completed his general surgery residency. After a year of research in Bariatric medicine Dr. Alexander attended the Texas Endosurgery Institute where he completed his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery. Under the tutelage of Dr. Morris E. Franklin, Dr. Alexander was exposed to Biliary, Hernia, Foregut, and Colo-rectal minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Alexander is Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons and is a candidate member of the American Medical Association, and the National Medical Association. In his free time, Dr.Alexander is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys Jazz.
