I had a good experience at Dr. Carney’s office. I was checked in immediately. I waited 10 minutes or so before I was called back. The medical assistant got started right away. Dr. Carney came into the room within 5-10 minutes. He was a very good listener. He was kind and compassionate. He was genuinely concerned and proactive about resolving my issues. I highly recommend Dr. Carney and his office.

He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UT Health) at Houston. He is an assistant professor in the department of Internal Medicine at UT Health. Dr. Carney is board-certified in internal medicine.
Among the many conditions he treats, Dr. Carney's special interests are hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. Dr. Carney believes that patients who know and understand their condition are more successful in their treatment, so he takes the time to educate patients about how their illness affects their body and the rationale behind their treatment.
