This is a great doctor, very professional and caring. The only negative was that the office staff did not have my patient information that was supposed to have been sent by ZOCDOC.

Office staff is slow and unreliable; doctors to whom he referred me only accepted cash payments out of pocket.
He always takes the time to listen to me and my concerns and fully explain the treatment he is prescribing.
Appreciated his time and expertise. Arranged for as procedure to be performed on a very short term basis.
Dr. Colin had a very welcoming, professional demeanor. The staff was very personably and efficient.

Very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Richard Corlin. I had been experiencing a lot of stomach problems with digesting food, so I gave him a visit. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional and assured me that we would be able to figure out what was wrong. He first said that I needed to have an endoscopy procedure performed. This was an expensive procedure not covered by insurance, but he assured me that the results obtained from it would solve my issue. I had the procedure performed, and waited to hear the results. 3 days later, I hadn't received any updates, so I called the office to get the results. No answer - straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my name and phone number asking for a call back. I never got a call back. I called 3 more times and asked for the results, but I could never get through. So, I decided to make another appointment. When I arrived, I asked him about the results, and he said he didn't know why I hadn't received my results back earlier. He said that the results were inconclusive, so I would have to take another test, a gastric emptying study. Once again, this procedure was not covered by insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket. Once again, I did not receive the results of my procedure, so I called the office - no reply; straight to voicemail. I called 7 more times, leaving a voicemail with my name and phone number each time before I FINALLY received a call back. The receptionist said that they had, in fact, returned my calls, but they called an old work number for a job I no longer have, even though their answering machine explicitly asks you to leave your phone number to be reached at and even though I had left my current phone number with every call. Anyway, they once again said that the results were inconclusive and that I would need to come back in for another appointment if I wanted any more help. At this point, I was really frustrated because I had paid for two expensive procedures not covered by insurance as well as two doctor visits and had gotten absolutely no results. Additionally, it was a huge struggle just to get them to tell me my test results after all. I decided to cut my losses with this doctor and to stop going to him. Visiting Dr. Corlin was an extremely disappointing experience, and I would highly discourage anyone from visiting him.

This was my second appointment with Dr. Corlin. The first was about 7 years ago. I appreciate his easy, yet professional, manner. He answered my questions respectfully and gave me the information I was seeking.
