If you want to waste hours being here then this is the place to be. I've been here for 3 hours and so far the only thing they've done for me is dilate my eyes. Usually when an office is crowded with extremely long wait hours, it's because they overbook for financial gain while not having any consideration for anyone's time. This will be my first and absolute last visit.

An innovator, Dr. Dankner was a pioneer in no stitch clear cornea topical cataract surgery, and was one of the first ophthalmologists to use lasers in his office for the treatment of glaucoma and diabetes.
Dr. Dankner is a well known for his philanthropic contributions to the community. Throughout his career, he has provided care and treatment to financially underprivileged individuals in Harlem and the South Bronx.
PERSONAL:
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Dr. Dankner now makes his home in Long Island with his wife of thirty years, Karen, and their two children, Robert and Stacey. Dr. Dankner served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. His personal interests including skiing, snorkeling and traveling. Dr. Dankner has just returned from attending the World Ophthalmology Congress in Hong Kong, China.

Very nice office and staff. Office was very convenient to get to. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. There were a few people waiting but I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The tech and the doctor were very helpful and very nice. I would definitely recommend this eye doctor to others. They are very quick, easy and to the point which I love.

Very convenient office. Front desk was so nice and kind! Taken even earlier than my appointment. The first tech omar was so kind and helpful. He was also very quick! The doctor was very nice. Got to the point and was quick which was great. I didn't need more than a general eye check so I was in and out within like 25 mins especially since it was so late in the day and not to to busy!! Would certainly recommend and they will be my new eye doctor. Friendly, fast and efficient!!

One word to describe my experience in the office, Wonderful! The staff was very friendly. They were very informative. The technician (I wish I remembered his name) was great. It’s all been said in the other five star reviews. Dr. Dankner and his staff are all I could have hoped for in a medical practitioner. He has been my Opthalmologist for several years now and one of his Optometrists, Dr. Rosa has always provided the absolute best care, and I believe, best advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue.
If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaing a very efficient office, then Dr. Dankner is someone you should consider visiting.

The doctor were informative and helpful. The staff was very polite and they worked quickly to have me seen. By far, this was one of the best visits I've had to any kind of doctor. I felt warmed and welcomed as if I were family.

I absolutely love the quality service I receive always at Dr. Dankner's office. They provide coffee during the wait which is great during winter months. The staff is great. Although I had a short wait, the staff made sure it felt as if I had been seen right away. Time flies when people make you feel welcome & at home!

The drops I was given were magical,took my entire eye lid infection off. But I didn't realized I was gonna end up super sensitive to the light and seeing blurry, it's all good it fixed my problem.
