Dr. Woo was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. Dr. Woo then completed his residency training and a Master’s degree in Podiatric Education with CCPM-Southern Campus/Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center. He has been in private practice in San Mateo since 1994 and San Francisco since 1998.
Dr. Woo is a licensed podiatrist in California. He is board certified in foot surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He serves on staff at Mills-Peninsula Medial Center and the San Mateo Medical Center. While active in private practice, Dr. Woo continues to be the podiatrist for patients of the San Mateo Medical Center Multi-Specialty Clinics, North County Clinic in Daly City, South San Francisco Health Center, Fair Oaks Clinic in Redwood City and the Willow Clinic at VA Palo Alto. Dr. Woo also maintains active membership in the San Francisco San Mateo Podiatric Medical Society, the California Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
