His board certifications are numerous, including the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is a fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Allen began his private practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1974. He continued practicing family medicine in Arizona after moving here in 1987.
Dr. Allen was on staff at Gavilan Peak Family Practice for four years, beginning in July 2006. He returned to Canada in July 2010, then rejoined Gavilan Peak in November 2011. He is accepting new patients as well as returning patients.
