I have suffered from debilitating migraines for over a decade now and finding Dr. Bashuk to treat these horrendous things was the best thing I have done. I have seen numerous neurologists and nothing they were doing seemed to help or diminish trips to the ER. Dr. Bashuk has prescribed me a treatment plan that I have been on for nearly 6 months and my migraines have diminished in both frequency and strength.After suffering through years of migraines he has been able to provide treatments that work. I live in Acworth and drive to Austell to see him because I feel he knows what he is doing. He is up to date with all the new treatments (Aimovig, Emgality, etc.) and at the same time has years of experience. He is very thorough and listens to any concerns I have. I am thankful for Dr. Bashuk.

As neurologists, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system. This includes diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Some of the more common problems that a neurologist will diagnose and treat are strokes, epilepsy (seizures), headaches, dementias (Alzheimer's disease) multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and various forms of pain. The receptionist was very rude and inadequate. She was perturbed that I hadn't filled out new patient paperwork that she sent via USPS. I never recieved anything. Also after filling out paperwork, I was told that I would have a co pay which was untrue because I've met my deductible. I'll never go back there. It was a waste of my afternoon that I took off work.

I am thrilled I was able to book with Dr. Bashuk through Zocdoc because it got me in sooner to see him and it was totally worth it. I found Dr, Bashuk to be professional, knowledgeable, and had a great bedside manner. I suffer with severe migraine ending me up quite often in the ER. Although there are many triggers for migraine suffers and no one really has a definitive answer, Dr. Bashuk, provided me with knowledge regarding the new medicines that are strictly and scientifically designed for prevention and reduction of migraines. This is important to note because other medications have not worked for me. I appreciated Dr. Bashuk taking his time to answer my questions and provide insight to this dibilitating issue. I would highly reccomend Dr. Bashuk.

Seemed annoyed that I had come in at all. I asked to try to find or rule out MS before I lost insurance. He only ordered a brain MRI, not also a spinal MRI (legions can be seen there, too). No suggestions of other conditions that might have my symptoms. I was definitely treated as though I were histrionic, that my pain and muscle weakness were just in my head. If you're a woman, probably avoid this guy.

I absolutely LOVE Dr Bashuk and Cierra his assistant. Only drawbacks: It's difficult to get them on the phone and they won't e-prescribe or fax my prescriptions to my mail order- I have to snail mail them myself which causes unnecessary delay. Not a controlled substance so it is legal to do it, I'm not sure why they don't. Still worth it and will continue to drive out of my way to see him.
