Dr.Bob Consor board certified by the American Board of Optometry where he serves as the Ambassador for the State of Texas. He is certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist by the Texas Board of Optometry and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is licensed in Texas and Florida in the detection and treatment of eye diseases and minor eye injuries. In addition he performs eye health examinations, enjoys hard to fit contact lens patients and his office has an eye gallery with the most modern eyeglass collections.
Dr. Consor graduated with honors, Summa Cum laude 1974 from the University of Houston, College of Optometry Eye Institute. He currently serves as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry, Eye Institute in Houston, Texas. He teaches student externs in his office in their final year of their optometric doctoral program.
He is a member of many societies and associations inclusive of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the National Eye Research Foundation (Contact lens Certified), the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists and certified to fit the Paragon CRT lenses for orthokeratology (contacts that correct vision while you sleep.
