Francis received his Master's Degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and undergraduate studies from Lamar University in Beaumont and the University of Texas at Austin. His experience as an emergency room nurse and provider inspired him to open his first private practice in Beaumont, Texas in 2005 which was featured in Physician's Practice Magazine (2010) for the use of green office technology. In 2008, he founded Skinologie Medical Spa which offers the latest non-invasive aesthetic procedures and was recognized in 2010 as the best medical spa in the Southeast Texas region. Francis moved back to his hometown of Cedar Park to open Zest Family Medicine and a second Skinologie Medical Spa in 2013. His previous work established quality management programs for the care of HIV-positive patients and a youth-centered HIV primary care clinic that has earned national recognition. He has served as a consultant for the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration to address the national nursing shortage and to promote advanced nursing practice. Francis' focus on treating patients with respect and commitment to educating them has earned him a huge following - over 5,500 patients to date.
