Robert Leisten, DPM, FACFAS - Extremely courteous, polite, highly professional. Dr. Lestein answered all my questions/concerns, making the appropriate suggestions in self - improving my medical condition. I'll be seeing him soon (first week of August 2017) for a surgical intervention, then again in September for another surgical procedure.

While Dr. Leisten was great, this office doesn't seem fully integrated with ZocDoc, and so they didn't know about my appointment, which caused me to wait a good long while.

Dr. Robert Leisten ROCKS!
Verified patient
The office claimed they didn't even have my appointment. I was late to work even though I scheduled my appointment over a week ago and it was shown as confirmed via Zoc Doc.
Verified patient
The staff was very professional and kind. Dr. Leisten's bedside manner is phenomenal. He really listens to you. You are treated like a person and not a number.
Verified patient
Rude and unprofessional staff
Verified patient
It was great! I like him a lot but the wait was absurd. When my appointment was at 315pm and I got there shortly after 3 and my paperwork was filled online I didn't see him til 415 or so. That was biggest disappointment!
Doctor was alright. Incompetent and unprofessional staff. Double charged my account; lack of timely communication. Bad experience.
Verified patient
He and his staff were very nice and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and had a comprehensive solution. I felt comfortable and left feeling like the issue was being resolved.
Verified patient
I have seen Dr. Leisten twice and both times he has been thorough. He has great bedside manners and friendly. He takes time and talk with the patient and he questions the patient before making an assumption. Nice guy.
Verified patient
Bedside manner was great!
My visit was great, I really lik the doctor, he was very nice and understanding, he gives you time and he explain to you everything
Very pleasant, personable and professional. He did not rush my visit and took the time to explain things. Would definitely recommend. Assistant / receptionist was very pleasant as well.. Only problem was that it was hard to find his office in the building which is somewhat being renovated and layout wasn't very good.

The doctor was fine. However, Zoc Doc sent me an email confirming the appointment apparently without first making sure the doctor was available. Therefore, I showed up at his office about an hour before the doctor was scheduled to even be at the office.
The receptionist is rude and the Dr. acted like I was wasting his time. The overcharged me for the appointment and never refunded me. There are many other foot Doctors in Houston. I switched to someone else.
He takes his time and explain things clearly, what causes my pain and how his treatment plan will help. Very professional! I also like the way that his staff tells me the estimate with breakdown before the treatment which I have never had in any other clinic before.
I liked Dr Leisten and he seemed quite knowledgeable but his receptionist was very inexperienced and gave me someone else's Zoc Doc paperwork to sign without paying any attention to what she was doing. Then when I went to the exam room, I was told by the assistant (nurse?) that I needed an x-ray even before the doctor saw me. I declined and said I'd wait for the doctor first. It took about 45 minutes before the doctor finally came in (was that my punishment?). I ended up needing an X-ray but I don't think an assistant or even a nurse should order an X-ray so casually and routinely.
They told me initially a surgery is scheduled for wed at 12-12:30, I told them that's fine and I would either pay cash or use the insurance if I could get my employer to start my insurance coverage on time. Called them again on Tue to confirm, his assistant said 12 is not available but they could offer 11am, I said fine. I also did the MRI the same day so they could have it by 9am the next day. Woke up this wed morning called them again to confirm, they told me there is nothing available because the surgery centre has no open slots. I explained that both me and my girlfriend took the day off for this surgery and why they shouldn't cancel it at last minute, but no they now insist to do it on Fri. Their execuse is: 1 there is never a surgery appointment at 12 so I shouldn't expect it anyway, and 2 I didn't provide my insurance information on time, this is depite I paid the office visit oop and told them I would pay cash if the insurance coverage couldn't start on time, so I'm not sure why they would expect an insurance anyway? I would never visit such a doctor again and I insist he pays me and my girlfriend for the day loss, plus the MRI cost (I had to pay to get the MRI done on Tue before my insurance could take effect because they were needing it for the Wed surgery, should I waited another day the insurance would pay for it).
Very pleased

Very thorough and very professional. He never makes you feel as though he is in a hurry to get you out. Gives clear explanations of problems and answers your questions.
Absolutely loved Dr. Robert Leisten. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend him to anyone in need of a podiatrist. Can't say the same for his receptionist. Wait time was over 40 mins and the receptionist was blatantly rude. Slammed the door to the room once we were inside and waiting to see the doctor. Rude to talk to and deal with.
Verified patient
I missed my scheduled appointment due to the fact that I got lost. They where very nice and fit me in. So I didn't mind the wait.
Verified patient
It was thorough, fast and everyone was professional and courteous. I am excited about having my surgery done and expect to be very pleased with the outcome.
VERY IMPRESSED!!!. With the pain I was in and the procedure Dr. Leisten recommended was amazing. I felt nothing!! I WILL recommend him to everyone. He was very caring and very informative and made me feel comfortable and assured everything would be fine, AND IT WAS!!

Dr. Leisten is the best podiatrist out there. He is certainly a pioneer in his field. The visit was pain free. He is very professional and knowledgable. He provides his clients with tons of education. He is accessible and affordable. I have researched many specialists and he IS the best out there.
Verified patient
Friendly staff, professional doctor, and was seen right away. Very clean waiting area and rooms. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Very informative and thorough
Verified patient
Not very thorough, I felt. I.e. his diagnosis was basically a guess. And it took more than 45 minutes to get called into the treatment room from the waiting area, and once back there I had to wait another 15 minutes. The waiting room was packed, so I think they need to do a better job of not cramming patients in.
Fabulous staff and doctor!
