I highly recommend Dr. Levin. He is an excellent doctor who is very personable and made me feel at ease throughout our session. He listened to understand my situation and was extremely constructive in his treatment approach.

I found Dr. Levin by accident while browsing zocdoc for a psychiatrist. He's been fantastic to work with. Two things to know about Dr Levin: 1) he is always available on short notice and is very responsive. 2) He approaches treatment like a scientist, always trying to find the best way to help rather than settling for a suboptimal approach. highly recommend.

Now, Psychiatry is a medical specialty that treats psychological/emotional issues. However, in addition to that I try to see beyond medical "diagnoses", to the existential issues of who we are in the world and how we wish to live our lives. There is an enormous responsibility to the patients who choose me for their care and in my office you will receive both help with your explicit goals and guidance. A high priority is to do the work as efficiently as possible - to minimize your costs in time and money. Psychiatric medication can be enormously helpful; at the same time, good psychotherapy results can sometimes render it no longer necessary and we will strive to keep that in mind. That being said, there are some diagnoses that require long term pharmacotherapy, eg., ADD and bipolar illness.

One of the best doctor's I have come across. I would truly rate a 10 star if there was one.

Felt very uncomfortable. More unstable and gloomy than I did before the appointments.

He's a very sharp and compassionate man. I made another appointment right away.

He appears to be very competent. It's early yet, but I hope it will help.

You know, I think if we were in a less absolutely dire situation, I would have liked Dr. Levin.
Unfortunately, this was literally a life or death matter with a close family member, and Dr. Levin was - useful, at exactly the very least.
He wrote us a recommendation to get my loved one to a hospital, but was almost disrespectful the way he saw the situation and the way he treated us.
He made me Venmo him payment BEFORE we left the room at the end of the 45 minutes.

He seems very unbalanced himself. I went for a medication review and he couldn't keep straight the details I had provided before the visit or as we were talking. Seemed distracted and forgetful. It was very challenging to get preauthorization for medication because insurance would say he didn't have records of my visit or didn't fax things over; and it took a few weeks to resolve as I paid out of pocket. I'm sure he's a nice person but he is not very professional.

Considered this guy the last time I was looking for a new therapist and quite frankly the guy was rude and unprofessional. His bedside manner is no where near what I would expect from a therapist or psychiatrist and I actually felt insulted by some of the things he said to me. He openly admitted to saying things to make me uncomfortable just to see how I would react which to me is extremely odd for any kind of doctor. If I were you I'd keep looking...

Amazing in all areas, I can't believe I found him by luck. He listened, responded so I know he understood and asked pertinent questions I hadn't thought about before. Highly recommended.

Dr. Levin is great! He addressed my needs, offered alternative options, advised me of several pros/cons, and listened to my concerns.

Horrible. Wasn't even in the office for the original appointment. When we rescheduled, he filled a Rx for me and didn't even really pay attention to what I was saying.

I booked him for my girlfriend because he looked like Robert De Niro. From what I heard he did not disappoint. Good practices, good listening, good medication knowledge, five stars because he once took a call for a refill on Sunday.

Dr. Levin was pretty good. He seems like a solid human being with some real knowledge. The office isn't the best, as it is some type of shared space, but the room was comfortable and private.

A true Gentleman by nature, and a heartfelt doctor to his patients by profession, Dr. Levin exceeds all doctor-patient expectations as usual. If you are looking for a Doctor that will be understanding and will work with you closely to accomplish your goals, then Dr. Levin is your doctor. Thank you Dr. Levin!

I have seen a lot of specialists in my time, starting from the ones that wear their glasses on the very tip of their noses, with only their smug attitudes to prevent them from falling off, speaking to you from "a higher than Mount Kilimanjaro stand point,” as if they knew all there is to be known about everything, to the exclusive delusional ones that I had wished to dig into my own pockets to pay for their treatment. I have seen specialists across three continents, six countries, ranging from the most prominent names, to the newbies, and I am yet to meet a professional of the likes of Dr. Levin. From the moment he enters the room, a man who wants only the best for you befriends you. Dr. Levin was kind, compassionate, and caring, and it showed by the way he lead the session from an unfamiliar beginning, to a hopeful ending. I use to hate these sessions! During my session he was honest, keeping me informed on what I needed to know, while assuring me that it’s still ok to be human and to have flaws. Towards the end of our session, we reached a solution/goal, one that would go moderately at my pace. I am really looking forward to my next session. If you’re looking for an understanding, and compassionate psychiatrist, one that will actually listen and attend to your issues, then Dr. Levin is your guy.

Very strange and terribly inappropriate. The doctor cut his fingernails throughout the session and threw his phone across the desk. This happened prior to infirming me that he was no longer seeing patients at this location. We parted ways peacefully but I found his conduct highly inappropriate and unprofessional.

Dr. Robert Levin is down to earth, amiable and eager to understand my unique situation since we all know everyone always has a unique situation. He was quick to catch up, offered viable alternatives and came to a feasible decision regarding my approach.
