Robert Lukenda was born and raised in Union County, New Jersey, where he still currently resides. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 with a degree in Biological Science. He received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He served as Chief Resident while completing his Family Medicine Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Robert Lukenda is currently fulfilling his life-long dream of opening a medical practice and serving his community. In his personal life, he married his high-school sweetheart and they have been blessed with three daughters. His hobbies include running, playing basketball, and spending time at the Jersey shore.

Dr. Lukenda is very thorough and hits all the body systems to make sure nothing is missed. He is very knowledgeable, personable and actually listens to all concerns. Treats the patient as a whole. As a healthcare professional myself, I know this is top notch, high quality care. He will be my primary care doctor moving forward. His staff are kind people and the facility is very clean. Recommend!

We really like Dr. Lukenda because he is very thorough, we like the staff, but this is the 3rd time seeing this Dr. and each time we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 35 minutes. COME ON!!!! I even call ahead to ask how the Dr. is handling the appointment times and of course they lie and say he's on time. This is not ok if you have to get back to work or have another appointment that day. I don't care if I am a new patient! It took me 10 minutes to fill out the papers and I arrived 30 minutes each time!!!! Also, the office refuses to print out the forms I already filled out on ZocDoc for the appointment weeks ahead of time. They still make me rewrite all the information I already sent to Dr. Lukenda's office through ZocDoc and can't understand that I don't want to rewrite all the standard information. I know I still have to fill out my medical history. I get it, but save time and print the paper work that they say is the reason I am waiting an hour!! This nonsense and the wait time is unacceptable and I might switch to another Dr. because of this. It is absolutely ridiculous. Do not book patients every 15 minutes and spend 45 minutes getting to each patient. Maybe book patients at least 30 minutes apart. Plan to be there for 2 hours if you are getting blood work after seeing the Doctor.

Every single person that I came into contact with at this office was exceptional! The office staff and the Dr were all kind, professional and efficient. Since my doctor of over 15 years retired, it's been hard to find a new practice that meets my criteria - pleasant staff, convenient location, draws blood during the appointment. I found all this and more at Dr. Lukenda's practice. Looks like I found my new doctor!

This was my first visit with the Doctor. The location of the office was easy to find with ample parking. The office was extremely clean. The office staff was amazing and super friendly. They were easy to speak to and eager to answer any questions I had. The Dr. had perfect bed side manner. Also, easy to speak to and very knowledgable. He seemed to care about me as a person and an individual and took time to answer any and all questions I had. I would very highly recommend this office to anyone.

One of the best doctors, but will do what's best for you even if you do not like it. He is young, personable, friendly and professional. I have been going to him for over a year now and will continue. He is a hard worker but is still personal unlike some doctors who try to focus on the revenue rather than the patient

My first visit went very well. Dr. Lukenda is a young energetic guy with a great bedside manner. The office is very well staffed and modern. This is the first doctor's office I've visited that seemed as modern as you would expect medical treatment to be. They requested my medical history from my previous PCP and took my picture for their electronic records. They also have an online portal to access basic needs. So far, so good!
