He has a background of training in cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and family therapies. He is a warm, caring therapist, who takes the time to listen, and evaluate patient concerns, and to develop an appropriate treatment plan with the patient.
Dr. Margolies received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at New York University. He completed a Ph.D. in Psychology at Fordham University. A seasoned practitioner, he is also an esteemed member of the American Psychological Association. He is currently adjunct professor of Psychology at Southern CT. State University. He volunteers significant time and energy as chair of The CT. Coalition for Child Development Education, and other community projects.
In addition to pursuing his clinical career, Dr. Margolies has published articles and book chapters that focus on various topics in his field of specialization.
