Dr Robert Meyers has a wonderful office, staff, and great bedside manner. My visit was seamless and I felt that Dr Meyers was thorough and patient.
The office was easy to get to, with a convenient attached parking garage. It was lovely, clean, and the staff was very pleasant.
My appointment was on time, and did not feel rushed at all. He spent ample time making sure I understood his opinions, the referrals, and the information he was providing. Dr Meyers made sure to ask me if I had any additional questions or concerns (which I feel like many physicians overlook how important this is to a patient- he understood and was very kind.)

Dr. Robert M. Meyers had been director of sinus training at the residency level at the University of Illinois, Department of Otolaryngology in Chicago. He holds the rank of full professor in that department. He has been active nationally for many years in giving lectures throughout the United States, as well as internationally on sinus surgery. He has been chairman of national meetings in the United States 30 times. He had served as Director of the American Rhinologic Society which is the premiere organization within the Academy of Otolaryngology in this sub-specialty. He has produced videos, written books, and many articles on this subject. His particular interest within this subject is the use of image-guided surgery on the sinuses. In addition he is well experienced in all aspects of ear, nose and throat diseases.

I brought my toddler daughter in for an ear infection consultation as I wasn’t comfortable with the treatment plan recommended by my pediatrician. I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Meyers on ZocDoc on the same day. Parking was easy and Dr. Meyers saw us with no wait time in the office. He was very sweet with my daughter. He answered all my questions thoroughly and I was comfortable with his treatment plan (which was effective). He mainly sees adult patients, but I would definitely bring my daughter back in the future as he is extremely knowledgeable and great with kids.

This appointment was due to a referral from an audiologist. Paperwork had been sent a few days prior, but it was clear the doctor had not looked at it until my appointment.
Essentially I sat and listened as he read my paperwork, was then told to come back in a year, and finally given a copy of the same paperwork which was sent to the office. The doctor said he was glad that I had previously went to an audiologist as that would have been his recommendation. He also said to take care of my ears... Seriously?!
I found this to be very frustrating and discouraging. I have never visited this or any other ENT center before, so perhaps my expectations were higher. Now I'm just at a loss of words for what to do, and also a medical bill for an apparently unnecessary appointment.

Dr. Meyer was fantastic, thorough, thoughtful, and patient. He demonstrated care and understanding. The audiologist was also excellent. I was made to feel cared for and valued as a patient. Some doctors just throw pills at you to mask symptoms—not Dr. Meyers. He is interested in prevention, finding and treating the cause.

Seeing Dr. Myers was quite possibly THE most ludicrous waste of my time and money.
I have had an ongoing problem with pain in my ears, for which I've already seen two internists, none of which helped. The pain has been getting worse - it used to be dull, now it's sharp, so I became alarmed. I booked an appointment with a specialist, thinking he'd at least make a real attempt at figuring out what was wrong with me.
Miraculously, Myers did less than the internists. I spent a total of 5 minutes in his office, he looked in my ears once, told me to get a softer pillow (lol) and prescribed a steroid (even after I told him an internist had already given me that, and it didn't work.) He said "be a compliment patient." That's rich. My pharmacist confirmed that yes, the drops he prescribed were indeed completely useless given what I've already been given by another doctor. I kept telling him I could feel fluid in my middle ear. Did he listen? Did he check for ANYTHING? I think you can guess the answer.
He interrupted me every time I opened my mouth, I felt as though I was never able to explain to him what I was experiencing. Cut me off every two words. Worst of all, he asked me "what I do for a living," and after telling him my job title, he rolled his eyes. WOW.
He bragged about his office seeing 200 patients a day. That's not an achievement. How about you see 15 patients a day and actually give them what they're paying for when they come see you!? When I say he gave me 5 minutes, that's not an exaggeration.
I will never be back and I will go as far as to make sure he doesn't receive a dime from my insurance. It's doctors like this that give all of them a bad rep. Fortunately, my other providers have all given me a full hour in their office before they bill ridiculous amounts of money.
