Dr Robert Meyers has a wonderful office, staff, and great bedside manner. My visit was seamless and I felt that Dr Meyers was thorough and patient. The office was easy to get to, with a convenient attached parking garage. It waslovely, clean, and the staff was very pleasant. My appointment was on time, and did not feel rushed at all. He spent ample time making sure I understood his opinions, the referrals, and the information he was providing. Dr Meyers made sure to ask me if I had any additional questions or concerns (which I feel like many physicians overlook how important this is to a patient- he understood and was very kind.) Great experience, highly recommend.

Office was kind of weird. His only solution for me was to do saline rinses and I continue to have sinus issues.

I brought my toddler daughter in for an ear infection consultation as I wasn’t comfortable with the treatment plan recommended by my pediatrician. I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Meyers on ZocDoc on the same day. Parking waseasy and Dr. Meyers saw us with no wait time in the office. He was very sweet with my daughter. He answered all my questions thoroughly and I was comfortable with his treatment plan (which was effective). He mainly sees adult patients, but I would definitely bring my daughter back in the future as he is extremely knowledgeable and great with kids.

Dr. Meyers provided fine treatment for my ear and solved my problem quickly, however he scolded me for the way that I winced at the pain. I am not exaggerating when I use the word scolding. He said I cannot wincelike that, and that I am lucky that he's even willing to clean my ears at all with behavior like that. Scolding an adult is completely inappropriate under any circumstances, let alone when I am in a position of vulnerability and he is in a position of power. I left his office in total shock, and I feel truly sorry knowing that other women have probably left his office feeling guilty like they were in the wrong simply because he yelled at them like he did to me.

This appointment was due to a referral from an audiologist. Paperwork had been sent a few days prior, but it was clear the doctor had not looked at it until my appointment. Essentially I sat and listened as he read mypaperwork, was then told to come back in a year, and finally given a copy of the same paperwork which was sent to the office. The doctor said he was glad that I had previously went to an audiologist as that would have been his recommendation. He also said to take care of my ears... Seriously?! I found this to be very frustrating and discouraging. I have never visited this or any other ENT center before, so perhaps my expectations were higher. Now I'm just at a loss of words for what to do, and also a medical bill for an apparently unnecessary appointment.

Dr. Meyer was fantastic, thorough, thoughtful, and patient. He demonstrated care and understanding. The audiologist was also excellent. I was made to feel cared for and valued as a patient. Some doctors just throw pills at you to mask symptoms—notDr. Meyers. He is interested in prevention, finding and treating the cause.

Seeing Dr. Myers was quite possibly THE most ludicrous waste of my time and money. I have had an ongoing problem with pain in my ears, for which I've already seen two internists, none of which helped. The pain has beengetting worse - it used to be dull, now it's sharp, so I became alarmed. I booked an appointment with a specialist, thinking he'd at least make a real attempt at figuring out what was wrong with me. Miraculously, Myers did less than the internists. I spent a total of 5 minutes in his office, he looked in my ears once, told me to get a softer pillow (lol) and prescribed a steroid (even after I told him an internist had already given me that, and it didn't work.) He said "be a compliment patient." That's rich. My pharmacist confirmed that yes, the drops he prescribed were indeed completely useless given what I've already been given by another doctor. I kept telling him I could feel fluid in my middle ear. Did he listen? Did he check for ANYTHING? I think you can guess the answer. He interrupted me every time I opened my mouth, I felt as though I was never able to explain to him what I was experiencing. Cut me off every two words. Worst of all, he asked me "what I do for a living," and after telling him my job title, he rolled his eyes. WOW. He bragged about his office seeing 200 patients a day. That's not an achievement. How about you see 15 patients a day and actually give them what they're paying for when they come see you!? When I say he gave me 5 minutes, that's not an exaggeration. I will never be back and I will go as far as to make sure he doesn't receive a dime from my insurance. It's doctors like this that give all of them a bad rep. Fortunately, my other providers have all given me a full hour in their office before they bill ridiculous amounts of money.

Friendly, professional, diagnosed my ear problem right away and gave me something that worked immediately. This was after having spent 18 months with a different doctor who meant well but did not diagnose properly. Thumbs up!

Dr. Meyers and his audiologist and receptionist were all well focused on what I needed (cleaning out some ear wax and periodic hearing test) and pleasant about it. It was my first visit, he came well recommended and I was notdisappointed. When I need this periodic maintenance, I'll go back. (But ENT Illinois has closed their 680 N. Lake Shore Drive location now.)

I was suffering from vertigo and dizziness, and bounced back and forth between ENTs and allergists. I would see an ENT, and they would send me to an allergist. I would then see an allergist, and they sent me to anENT. All of the ENTs I saw worked up as many tests as they could and came to the conclusion that nothing was wrong. Dr. Meyers was the third ENT I went to see. He examined me and said that I didn't need an ENT, I needed a Neurologist! He didn't waste my time or money running countless tests. And, he was right! I saw a Neuro and was able to get treated. I appreciated that he not only viewed me as a cash cow, but that he also thought outside of the box. Also, he has a wonderful bedside manner and never makes you feel rushed. I've seen him a few times since then and cannot say enough good things.

Overall: Efficiency clinic. Top notch care. Reasonable rates. Robert Meyers was very attention and patient. He took time to explain to me the issue with my slight hearing loss, unlike most doctors I've seen who always seem to be in arush. His fees were very reasonable, given the level of care that was given (top notch). I also did a hearing test at Dr Meyer's office and the lady conducting the test also showed the same level of attentiveness and care. I had to undergo a ear x-ray in a separate location in the suburbs and the process was extremely efficient. The x-ray nurse used some of her personal time to squeeze me into a same-day appointment. The attention given at the x-ray center was also top notch. Between all these tests, I hardly had to wait very long at all. His clinic is a well-oiled machine. Last but not least, the lady at the front desk also deserves kudos for keeping everything in place. Great team dynamics. I would highly recommend Dr Meyers' clinic for your ENT needs.

I was able to make a Saturday appointment (which is rare). I was a little early for my appointment, but I only waited about 10 minutes to see Dr. Meyers. His staff assistant/receptionist was friendly and helpful. He was able toassess the problem with my tonsils quickly and I was in and out of his office within 30 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Meyers if you ever need a an ear, nose, and throat specialist!

I had a great and comprehensive consultation with Dr. Robert Meyers . Dr. Meyers was friendly and approachable when we spoke about my ear issues. He listened to my questions and concerns and dispelled several misconceptions that other doctorshad told me about my condition. His staff preformed a few diagnostic tests to pin point the root cause. The staff were very professional and also answered all my questions. I would go back to his office if I have another ENT issue arise in the future.

He was correct in that I did not have a sinus infection and sent me to a dentist to check on my teeth since I was having facial pain, and he was correct that I had an infected tooth and Iwas able to be treated. However, there was a huge to-do about my insurance. I was told my insurance did not cover an MRI and that I had chosen a "cheap Obamacare plan" and that's why I would not receive good treatment. After waiting for about an hour for my insurance company to be reached, it was confirmed that I would in fact be covered for the MRI. I did not receive an apology for being discriminated against for using Obamacare and I did not appreciate the awful bedside manner.

Maybe I should have booked the appointment as a consultation because I had never meet this doctor before. When I had seen him I was just coming off a sinus episode so some of my ailments weren't too severe. Because Ihad not been going through any major discomfort I got the impression the doctor didn't want to deal with me or any of my questions and I felt rushed out.
