I have been to many doctors and I can already tell you with just one visit that Dr. Polisky is my favorite. He listened to everything I said and answered all of my questions. There was little to no wait time and him as well as everyone in the office were very polite. He even brought in a toy box for the little ones. I would definitely recommend choosing him as your doctor.

Dr. Bob Polisky is a Chicago native. He attended Mather High School, The University of Illinois and The Chicago Medical School. The doctor has had a lifetime interest in sports working at Sox and Cubs parks through school. He lettered in baseball and tennis in high school and keeps active today by bike riding and kayaking on local lakes.
Dr. Polisky became board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Dermatology completing training in both specialties at Vancouver General Hospital and Cook County Hospital. Dr. Polisky was Chief Resident at Cook County Hospital where he developed a medical device to suppress formation of keloids.
The practice was started in 1986. While the office was being constructed, Dr. Polisky saw his first patients at the outpatient department at Alexian Brothers Hospital. The practice and the hospital have grown remarkably. For example before the highway 53 exit it was common to stroll across a near empty Biesterfield Road. Dr. Polisky was fortunate to get some outstanding office staff who were original patients. Nancy (21 years), Mary Jane (20 years), and Sue (14 years)….are just a few of the long term staff.

The atmosphere of Dr. Polisky's office is friendly and professional. I felt very at ease, and Dr. Polisky and his assistant Jackie both took the time so we could get to know each other. Dr. Polisky diagnosed my condition and explained the treatment in an easy to understand way, and we started the healing process right away. I've been back for another issue and enjoyed the same high quality; they truly seem to care and I appreciate that.
I highly recommend Dr. Polisky to everyone! I have complete confidence in both his medical expertise as well as his integrity, and I'm so happy to have found a doctor and a practice I will come to for many years!

Extremely pleased! He knew exactly what the problem was, explained it thoroughly, and I left not only with my prescriptions, but also a synopsis of my visit written our with the diagnosis, etc. Both the doctor and nurses were very personable, cordial and made me feel totally comfortable and at ease. All medical experiences should be so pleasant!!!

Our visit was great! Dr Polisky was kind, patient and thorough. He engaged my 4 year old which always wins points in my books. He even let my son take home a little toy truck which absolutely delighted him. Dr Polisky was not completely familiar with the issue we came to see him about, but was not at all dismissive. Instead, he assured us that he would be reaching out to colleagues to get to the bottom of what we are dealing with. I appreciated his kindness and commitment to seeking a resolution.

Excellent staff and very confident while still providing a relaxed atmosphere. Dr. P was great, I enjoyed his happy attitude and that made me comfortable. He is knowledgable and yet does not rush his time or your time. He welcomes your questions, and talks with you about your concerns.
I've already given his card to a couple of people even tho I'm moving out of state! Glad to know he's only a call away.

Dr. Polisky had one of the best bedside manners of any doctor I have ever seen. He was also very informative, considerate and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. His staff was similarly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. To be honest, I hated to leave the office and I'm looking forward to going back for a deep cutting procedure most people would shutter at having. I would recommend him without hesitation.
