Dr. Robert Priebe grew up in southeastern Plymouth, Michigan; spent time in the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY, earned his Bachelor of Science degrees from Eastern Michigan University in Nutrition and National University of Health Sciences in Human Biology along with his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree in Lombard, IL. Dr. Priebe has 13 years experience as a Chiropractic Physician, Rehab Specialist, Acupuncturist and 19 years experience as a Dietitian. Dr. Priebe lives in Des Plaines, IL with his wife. In his free time Dr. Priebe enjoys time with his wife cooking, traveling and attending various cultural events in Chicago. He also enjoys playing and watching many types of sporting events and spending time with his 2 cats.
Dr. Priebe is very passionate about preventative healthcare as Chiropractic was life changing for him 23 years ago so he takes great care when assisting his patients toward their health goals. Dr. Priebe has expertise in utilizing 8 different Chiropractic techniques including Pulstar, Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop, Logan Basic, NRCT, Flexion/ Distraction and Ghonsted Seated. Some of Dr. Priebe’s techniques are manual and some are a more gentle non force version to work with patients that do not care for that “cracking noise”. Dr. Priebe employs numerous techniques so that his patients have the ability to choose which technique works best for them.
To treat soft tissue problems, Dr. Priebe utilizes Rapid Release Therapy. This therapy employs the use of a hand held unit providing a high speed vibration targeted to areas of soft tissue dysfunction. This therapy is extremely effective to assist with relaxation of muscle spasms, knots, adhesions and trigger points.
