Dr. Cindy Nguyen grew up just outside Chicago in Aurora, IL, a hometown setting that gave her both small town benefits – like a strong sense of community, the beautiful riverwalk and endless parks and festivals – and the excitement and adventures of city living. As far back as she can remember, Dr. Cindy always wanted to be a healthcare provider. But it wasn’t until 2020 that her path became crystal clear: “While working as a Chiropractic Technician at the Chiro One office in Oak Brook, Illinois, I had the privilege of working with Dr. Jill Pickens, who truly inspired me to become a chiropractor. Seeing firsthand how she changed patients’ lives through chiropractic care made me realize this was exactly what I wanted to do—help people feel and function their best. It is an honor to continue on this journey practicing alongside her.” Today we are proud to count Dr. Cindy as one of our highly skilled Chiro One DCs, working alongside Dr. Jill in Oak Brook. What patients – and her clinic team – appreciate most about Dr. Cindy is her easygoing and lighthearted nature, which helps make their care experience comfortable and enjoyable. Dr. Cindy finds that by being relatable and creating a welcoming environment, it’s help put her patients at ease and reminds them they’re in good hands. She always makes time to listen, understand their needs, and relate their care back to their personal goals in order to assure that every patient feels heard and supported. Dr. Cindy delfines wellness as feeling and functioning at her best. She maintains her own wellness by staying active with weightlifting and running, which help keep her energized and strong. When she’s not in the clinic, she maintains her wellbeing with a wealth of experiences that keep her grounded, bring her joy, and help her maintain a balanced, fulfilling life, like going to concerts, trying new foods and restaurants, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
