Dr. Robert Stuart has 30 years of experience in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. He was Chief and Residency Director at Madigan Army Medical Center before starting his private practice in the Tacoma area in 1982. He is known as one of the best diagnosticians in the area. Currently he is a regional physician educator, teaching other physicians in the areas of outpatient psychiatric care, hypertension, sleep medicine, and lipid disorders. He is a faculty member of the Sleep Consultant Network. He has maintained certification as a Diplomate by the American Academy of Family Physicians, and has been certified by the American Board of Family Practice since 1979. He is married and has three children. He is active in his church and enjoys outdoor activities.
