I specialize in the treatment of chronic pain and injury rehabilitation, especially back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and foot and ankle pain. I have also had great success intreating a wide variety of issues including women's health issues, particularly PMS, cramping, infertility, prenatal care and menopause. Also men's health, digestive problems, anxiety and depression, asthma and allergies. I have been practicing acupuncture in Seattle for 10 years.
Robert graduated from the four year program at The Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in 2002 and holds a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. In addition to his NIAOM training, Robert completed a seven month post-graduate training program in the Toyo Hari system of Japanese acupuncture and is a certified Toyo Hari practitioner. Robert has also travelled to Japan for intensive training in the Toyo Hari acupuncture system. He has been licensed to practice acupuncture since 2002.
Robert uses a combination of acupuncture, moxabustion and both Chinese and Western herbal medicines to bring his patients to an optimum state of health and well-being. He believes that good health care should be supportive of physical and emotional well-being, and should include diet and lifestyle counseling.
