As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Robin Moore firmly believes in the powerful relationship between mind and spirit as well as the body’s ability to self-heal when properly treated and maintained. Her holistic approach to medicine provides with a unique and comprehensive level of care. She has a passionate appreciation for the inter-related functions of the human body, and combines this knowledge with modern medicine and research to empower to achieve their own positive outcomes.
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Moore gained a love of medicine at an early age. With a family of doctors behind her, Dr. Moore received her B.S. degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 1994 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. She completed both her internship and residency in Family Practice from Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in New York. Dr. Moore is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and Licensed to practice medicine in the states of Texas, Missouri and New York. Prior to moving to Houston in 2009, she was a Family Physician in St. Louis, Missouri and Frisco, Texas
Dr. Moore strives to make a positive impact and difference in the lives of her patients. She firmly believes the key to achieving an outstanding physician-patient relationship is simply listening to patients to gain an understanding of their condition or concerns, and then working with them to formulate a treatment plan they believe in fully.
Dr. Moore is active in her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., which is a service organization that reaches out to the community with health workshops, provides scholarships, and educational training sessions, Also her personal interests include music, sports, traveling, and shopping, Her passion is preventive health, women’s and men's health and adolescent care.
