Finally someone who read my file before my appointment and was prepared. He took his time, explained many options and then we decided where to start. The best doctor I have seen, I would make him my primary if I could! Very knowledgeable!

He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas and was an assistant professor at MD Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute before starting private practice in 1980.
He is active both in research and teaching: all of his patients are seen with third year surgery residents from OHSU.
