I'd prefer to get reports from the doctor himself so I appreciate that he comes out to talk to the parent after the exam. I felt the technician just wanted to sell me glasses since she couldn't tell me if his prescription had changed significantly or not.
AND they had moved office locations since their last visit, which no one had mentioned in any of our phone calls. When you only come once a year, that deserved to be communicated.

The visit with the doctor was warm and professional however, the assistant needs to work on patience and being more kid friendly when working with children.

He received a Bachelor's degree in Science in 1991. Dr. De La Fuente grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Wylie Senior High School in 1987. Dr. De La Fuente has always worked in Dallas area as an optometrist. He was a part time staff member Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic in West Dallas for 4 years before he left to dedicate more time to Central Vision Clinic practice. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

This office was very strange. I felt like I was walking into the back storage room when going to the examination room, and the bathroom was basically a broom closet. Overall it wasn't the most professional eye exam place I've ever been to. Everyone was nice enough, but I think I'm better off going to Lenscrafters.

Dr. De La Fuente took his time examining my eye he explain everything that he was doing. He answered my questions, I even found out I have an option to treat my legaly blind right eye, I thought there was nothing I can do that was what I was told with other Dr.'s.
