Dr. Roy Schmidt and his staff at New Life Medical Group are committed to providing patients with exceptional, individualized care in a comfortable, professional, and innovative environment. Dr. Schmidt is your complete long-term solution to pain, not simply masking it with short lived solutions.
He runs an elite practice that specializes in pain management, but realized long ago that he could offer more ground-breaking treatment options than any other pain clinic. His goal to offer state-of-the-art alternatives in one location led him to integrate the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and regenerative therapies. HBOT is the only non-hormonal treatment approved by the FDA for biologically repairing and regenerating human tissue. He also specializes in regenerative therapies like prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) and cell therapy, to help his patient's bodies restart the healing process naturally.
Dr. Schmidt is a Board Certified anesthesiologist and completed training at the Cleveland Clinic and Baystate Medical Center, affiliated with Tufts University. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Calif. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and the International Hyperbaric Medicine Society.
His certifications include ASIIP accreditation in opioid administration and coding, suboxone detoxification accreditation

Dr. Schmidt and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have enjoyed every visit. They work with my schedule and get me in for visits. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for help or relief.

Staff up front are friendly, prompt and answer any question you may have. Large waiting room. Clinical staff know you and ask about you!! Both Dr. and his NP listen to what you say. They understand chronic back pain, and how it affects your daily life. Able to do many procedures in office.
