Ruel T. Stoessel, M.D., FACOG, founded University Perinatal Associates (UPA) in April of 2000. Since then, UPA has flourished into a practice that has helped a vast number of women with a variety of prenatal needs.
Ruel T. Stoessel, M.D., completed his undergraduate training at City University of New York, receiving the high honor of Magna cum Laude. He attended medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His Residency in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the State University of New York at the Health Service Center/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn. He then continued his perinatal training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Stoessel is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Stoessel believes in the concept of “Seeing Our Future”. Unborn babies deserve to have the best chance of a good start in life. State of the art technologies and high quality prenatal diagnosis has allowed this concept to become a reality. Dr. Stoessel and his colleagues at UPA will continue with this mission as we enter the next decade of this new millennium. He pledges to provide the best possible care to our children, for our future.
