Dr. Pitts is always the best! He really takes the time to examine and try to help you with your problem. He never rushes you and makes sure to explain everything thoroughly. I’ve been a patient for a few years and he is by far the best doctor that I’ve ever had!

In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Pitts attended the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, graduating with highest honors. He continued his medical education at the Mayo Clinic, where he received residency training in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Pitts has also completed a fellowship program in sports medicine at Washington University in Saint Louis, where he worked with professional athletes from the Saint Louis Rams, Saint Louis Blues, and the Washington University Bears collegiate athletes.

Dr Pitts was straightforward but very personable. I very much appreciated his direct analysis of my knee issue and the options of treatment. He assuaged my fears of thinking all surgeons just want to recommend surgery. His recommended course of action was to try multiple courses of action and then only explore surgical solutions. Very thorough and professional - wish all my doctors were like him!! Love this doctor--

Went to see a surgeon before him and the other doctor told me to just wait it out and that it was probably just sore. I knew something was wrong so I chose to go see another doctor. He listened to me and made sure that everything was looked at. Didn't write me off as someone that doesn't know my body and has scheduled an MRI for next week. Would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic needs.
