Dr. Sabina Oboukova received her undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University and doctorate degree from MCPHS College of Optometry. Additionally, she completed her residency in advanced care ocular disease at SUNY College of Optometry. She is also a diplomat of the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Oboukova provides comprehensive and contact lens eye examinations to pediatric and adult populations, managing amblyopia, myopia, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy.

I was hit with an overpowering fragrance smell.
When i was registering, one of the four forms is a consent form that the optometrist can do any type of test she sees fit that will be added an additional cost.
I had asked how much my co-pay was at check in and she said that they don’t know because they might do other tests. I didn’t mind this,but I was under the assumption that they would tell me before doing the test.
While I was being seen with the optometrist she didn’t tell me which tests were additional. They did a few tests. She then said to me that the receptionist will schedule me in for another test in 3 months but never explained why or what it’s for. It felt like she was upselling.
And when I got the bill, the receptionist said the amount. I paid, and the I then asked why the amount? She then said oh you didn’t hear me the first time?
Though I can afford the amount, I would’ve appreciated transparency that an extra test was done and the state the additional fees
