As the owner of Alnoor Medical PC, Dr. Hussain is a board-certified physician with more than 10 years of experience who is dedicated to providing patient-focused, comprehensive medical attention to all his patients.
Dr. Hussain began his residency in 2003 at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway and completed it in 2007. He also served as an internist in Chile Hospital in Arizona. Subsequently, he was affiliated with South Island Medical Associates where he served as an internist.
With a multi-lingual staff of board-certified physicians who speak Spanish, Urdu and Hindi, we are proud to build long-lasting relationships with patients as their primary care doctor. Dr. Hussain and his medical staff believe in always listening to patients’ needs - to ensure optimum health and well-being. Open six days a week, our medical office accepts most insurance companies and offers special discounted rates for patients without insurance.

It was my first time... I filled out everything online to avoid waiting time but have to filled out everything again because the recepnist was busy or lazy enough to not update everything ahead of time so I have to wait fore then an hour to get myself update in there system & see the doctor. I was about to leave twice so definitely 1 star for that. Other then that the doctor was good & friendly. He listen & discuss all my problem, no rush. Also Did all necessary test so 5 star for him. At the end of the day the doctor is good & I’ll visit him again but they have to work on waiting time.

I would not recommend this doctor for several reasons. The first time I went, he claimed he ran out of the physical prescription pad and could not write me any prescriptions, this is a LIE. The second time I went, he sent the prescriptions to my pharmacy. This is a ploy to have you come in a second time, and charge you another visit. If he says this to you, say you want the prescriptions sent directly to your pharmacy. Another reason, is the blatant unprofessionalism, on all accounts. I came to my appointment 15 minutes early, and the door was locked, I had to call the "secretary/"nurse" who said they'd be there soon. Time passes by, my appointment time passes by, and I have to call again, and they say again they'd be there soon. Long-story-short, I did not speak to the actual doctor until an hour later. During my 'appointment', his secretary knocked and interrupted my appointment three times, and they'd speak in a foreign language, what is that about? After my long wait, they prolonged my appointment, without a "sorry about that," "this will only be a moment," NOTHING. Before leaving, I go to the front desk, when the nurse tells me the doctor wants me to do a test, and I say, sure, I will come back another time (as I had already been there 90 minutes) and the doctor screams from across the room, in front of other patients, 'I WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR PRESCRIPTION UNLESS YOU DO IT NOW'. I was embarrassed that he would be so discourteous to his patient and that he had indiscreetly treated a patient's personal private matters this way. This is not a place I will ever return to, nor would I recommend to anyone. The doctor-wife team simply do not make a safe welcoming environment. I don't understand how they have so many positive reviews. In fact, I have never had a bad experience with a high-rated doctor from ZocDoc before. I hope this review is helpful!!!

I met Dr Hussain twice and with both visits he made me feel comfortable. He isn't the type of doctor that rolls his eyes when you ask a lot of questions he is the type of Doc that wants to answer them. It was a fantastic first visit. Dr. Husain was very thorough and took a great amount of time to get my medical history and address all my concerns. I love that his office provides me with the in office blood draws, EKGs. Sonograms if need to be performed. Lovely experience and his wife who is at reception she is wonderful, making me feel right at ease as I entered and reassuring as I left that if I had any questions just call.

I made an appointment on ZocDoc and then I called to confirm. The receptionist said that the time I chose was maybe going to busy and I may have to come later. I said I wasn't available later and asked if I still had my appointment and she said yes. Then the day before the appointment she called to tell me that the time I made was not a good time and asked if I could come in later which I again told her no.
