Hi everyone, I’m Sam! I’m originally from a map dot town northeast of Kansas City, Missouri. I believe in teaching my patients how to realistically keep the foods in their diet that they love. I enjoy discussing how diet and chronic diseases are often related. Most of my clinical experience comes from diabetes care, but I am well versed in many areas of nutrition. My favorite part of my job is building new relationships with clients and helping set health and wellness goals that fit into their daily lives. Call me old school, but I still enjoy opening a brand new cookbook (not my phone) and trying out new recipes. I love the simple things in life like, changing of the seasons, holidays, my daughter Whitley (my biggest food critic, but wonderful helper in the kitchen) and spending time with friends and family.
