Patient reviews for Dr. Sameena Khan
Dr. Khan was at least 45 mins. late for my appointment, which was the first appointment for the day. She lives upstairs in the same house of her office. She LITTERLLY lives right upstairs!!!!
Always a pleasure to see her and her staff, Dr. Khan is great
The waiting time is a bother, especially if your the very first patient of the day, but Dr. Khan is very thorough during the examination. I continue to see her as my optalmogist not only, because her office is very near to where I live, but I trust her with my eye care.
very friendly and helpful
Dr. Khan is very thorough, so pleasant and easy going and very efficient. Her staff is wonderful, such a great experience.
Dr. Khan is excellent—-thorough and friendly. She is also very patient when explaining things to me —-even if I ask her more than once! Her medical assistants and office staff are very friendly also. I like that Dr. Khan usually has office hours on Saturdays—-very rare for a medical specialist in my long experience!
Great Experience. Excellent care. Very professional and friendly staff.
Wait time was way too long, when asked about the issue- was told that the long wait was normal. Dr was coughing into her hands and conducting eye exam without washing her hands. Simple manners people.
The Doctor is truly excellent—- thorough & friendly—-a great combination! I always look forward to seeing her & her staff!
Dr. Kahn and her receptionist were very professional and friendly. My first visit was today and I will be returning as I have chosen her to be my primary Eye Doctor. I was very pleased with my services.
Dr. Khan is very knowledgeable and very pleasant. She takes time to explain things to you about your condition. The staff is professional and courteous. Would surely recommend this Doctor to my family and friends.
ALWAYS GREAT AS USUAL
Will visit again. Even though it took a while from Check in to being seen.
She works out of her home which I find ok but she needs to work on her cleanliness. She had allergies and an injured hand. I literally watched her cough and sneeze and then call me into her office for a consult and never washed her hands. She put a yellow drop of I believe iodine into my eyes all while not washing her hands. I felt ashamed to ask directly for her to do it so I instead asked if she had a cold then she said it was allergies then she used hand sanitizer. Plus they put another drop of something in the eyes to dialate the pupils so you have to leave there in dark glasses and I had to drive home hoping I could see properly. I left her office hoping that she didn't infect my eyes due to her lack of cleanliness and wishing I knew they would obscured my vision, I would not have driven to the appointment.
Waiting was long to see the doctor. The staff was okay, not friendly, but took care of me with the signing in right away. The doctor did her job doing the eye testing and assessment, but did not sit down and talk to me with me explaining her findings or ask if I had any questions. I had difficulty seeing the chart with and without glasses. I was very nervous to what was going on, but she did not discuss with me what was going on.When I asked she basically said that its of no concern. Over all, I would have liked the doctor to relate to me a person with concerns and talk with me so I could understand whats going on.
office was much dirty, medical assistant was eating right infront of me and took my mom inside in rude way ! No professional at all so dirty office all over.nobody use gloves and clean hands.when we just entered the office so many flea around the office because of big trees and grass .seems like nobody live there and the wait was 3 hour .i really don't like the dirty office
Pls make the wait time shorter. Ok
It was excellent, specially no long waiting time and staff was very cooperative and helpful
Very professional and friendly staff.
Holy cow the wait time was the worst but she was a good doc.
She is excellent in EVERY way!
She was EXCELLENT in every way---and I don't use that word lightly! She was incredibly thorough & also really took the time to totally explain my medical issues. Her staff was also extremely pleasant. There is a very happy vibe going through the whole medical office. I look forward to going to her again!??????
Very professional and caring. Nice cozy office
She was very good she spend a lot time with you
Staffs were friendly and they give details in layman's terms which could be easily understood right away. Dr. Khan was really accommodating and very lively. Would recommend her if someone needs an eye check up
very good doctor with good humanity. help me out by giving me a lot of time. thanks doctor.
Did a good job so far.
It was hood
It was absolutely unacceptable for a patient to wait 5 hours to be seen.
Wait times need to be shorter, 3+ hrs is too long.
AS ALWAYS DR. KHAN IS GREAT, GOOD LISTENER, CARING AND GENTLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
compassionate good listener.
She was super attentive and a great Dr. She took her time with me and that could explain the long wait.
Dr. Khan is very friendly, personable, thorough and professional. Her calm, kind demeanor made me feel very at ease during my visits. She willing answered all of my questions and did not rush me when I felt resistant during a procedurr. Her office staff are equally professional, courteous and kind. Additionally, the office washroom (very important), waiting and examination rooms were clean and tidy. I highly recommend this Harvard educated doctor for your eye care needs hands down.
The receptionist was very friendly. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr Khan about my concerns. My only issue is that when I arrived I was the only patient there and had to wait 45 mins before I was seen. I arrive at 10:45 and finished at 1:00. The actual time spent with the assistant and Dr was about 15-20 mins. Most of my time was spent in the waiting area.
It was very good except there four patients given the same time 10 AM
Horrible experience. Waited about an hour to be seen, they dilated my pupils and then I had to wait another 2 hours to see the doctor. As a result I was late to pick up my child from school because this appointment took so long. Never going to that place again.
GREATEST CARE GIVING ophthalmologist I HAVE EVER MET.
Good nice place and clean near to my house
She was great, personable and professional only thing that I did not like was the wait time . My appointment was at 10 am , I did not see the doctor until 1130 and did not officially finish and leave the office until after 1pm :(.
Came in for an emergency visit after waking up with a red, irritated eye (possible conjunctivitis). My appointment wast at 11:30am. I had already pre filled forms on zocdoc but still decided to arrive early anyway. I signed whatever forms needed my signature and politely sat in the waiting area. 45 minutes later I was still sitting there waiting to be seen. I am an office manager at a medical practice so I unserstand how an office can run behind schedule. However, it irritated me that I could here the doctor & her assistant "socializing" while myself and several other patients were waiting. An hour later, the assiatant finally calls me into a room. She was pleasant but somewhat unprofessional as she had a mouth full of food & was trying to speak in between smacks. She abruptly left me sitting in the room to grab a drink to wash down whatever she was eating. She asked me to sit back in the waiting room to wait for the doctor. Another 1/2 hour passes and the doctor is MIA. More patients start coming in. Finally, the doctor appears from a doorway which I assumed led to the upsatirs portion of the house. (Yes the office is located in the lower level of a house). Another 10 minutes passes & the doctor calls me into the room. After a two minute exam she tells me I have what I suspected & gives me a prescription. All I needed was a prescription. I don't understand why it took over two hours for her to see me for two minutes. Had it not been an emergency I would've walked out long before I was seen.
Very friendly and courteous,
I caught them at a time when they were catching up with missed appointments due to a massive snowstorm. Despite the wait, I would definitely recommend and will go back myself.
waste of time, she examine my eyes said only need on the counter reading glasses said my vision good but still feel my eyes blur won't recommend her after leaving she called me to ask if i was going to make my appointment i reply you already seen me. No more to say go else where
The doctor and office staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
Probably will not be going back as she appears to be a professional within a health care environment who does not wash or sanitize her hands before examining the patient.
The wait time is very long 1 hour and 30 minutes before I saw the doctor and I had to wait 40 minutes again to see the doctor. The doctor was very nice and helpful but the wait time was definitely a turn off.
I Will Never Go To That Doctor Again!! I Had A Better Chance In Getting My Glasses From Walmart!!!
