very good doctor with good humanity. help me out by giving me a lot of time. thanks doctor.
It was hood
It was absolutely unacceptable for a patient to wait 5 hours to be seen.
AS ALWAYS DR. KHAN IS GREAT, GOOD LISTENER, CARING AND GENTLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Wait times need to be shorter, 3+ hrs is too long.
Did a good job so far.
compassionate good listener.
Dr. Khan is very friendly, personable, thorough and professional. Her calm, kind demeanor made me feel very at ease during my visits. She willing answered all of my questions and did not rush me when I felt resistant during a procedurr. Her office staff are equally professional, courteous and kind. Additionally, the office washroom (very important), waiting and examination rooms were clean and tidy. I highly recommend this Harvard educated doctor for your eye care needs hands down.
The receptionist was very friendly. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr Khan about my concerns. My only issue is that when I arrived I was the only patient there and had to wait 45 mins before I was seen. I arrive at 10:45 and finished at 1:00. The actual time spent with the assistant and Dr was about 15-20 mins. Most of my time was spent in the waiting area.
It was very good except there four patients given the same time 10 AM
GREATEST CARE GIVING ophthalmologist I HAVE EVER MET.
She was great, personable and professional only thing that I did not like was the wait time . My appointment was at 10 am , I did not see the doctor until 1130 and did not officially finish and leave the office until after 1pm :(.
Came in for an emergency visit after waking up with a red, irritated eye (possible conjunctivitis). My appointment wast at 11:30am. I had already pre filled forms on zocdoc but still decided to arrive early anyway. I signed whatever forms needed my signature and politely sat in the waiting area. 45 minutes later I was still sitting there waiting to be seen. I am an office manager at a medical practice so I unserstand how an office can run behind schedule. However, it irritated me that I could here the doctor & her assistant "socializing" while myself and several other patients were waiting. An hour later, the assiatant finally calls me into a room. She was pleasant but somewhat unprofessional as she had a mouth full of food & was trying to speak in between smacks. She abruptly left me sitting in the room to grab a drink to wash down whatever she was eating. She asked me to sit back in the waiting room to wait for the doctor. Another 1/2 hour passes and the doctor is MIA. More patients start coming in. Finally, the doctor appears from a doorway which I assumed led to the upsatirs portion of the house. (Yes the office is located in the lower level of a house). Another 10 minutes passes & the doctor calls me into the room. After a two minute exam she tells me I have what I suspected & gives me a prescription. All I needed was a prescription. I don't understand why it took over two hours for her to see me for two minutes. Had it not been an emergency I would've walked out long before I was seen.
Very friendly and courteous,
I caught them at a time when they were catching up with missed appointments due to a massive snowstorm. Despite the wait, I would definitely recommend and will go back myself.
The doctor and office staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
Probably will not be going back as she appears to be a professional within a health care environment who does not wash or sanitize her hands before examining the patient.
The wait time is very long 1 hour and 30 minutes before I saw the doctor and I had to wait 40 minutes again to see the doctor. The doctor was very nice and helpful but the wait time was definitely a turn off.
I Will Never Go To That Doctor Again!! I Had A Better Chance In Getting My Glasses From Walmart!!!
Good nice place and clean near to my house
Dr Sameena Khan, is excellent , and very concern about her patients health ! .. I like her bedsides manner, and most of all her staff .
Dr. Khan was extremely helpful and friendly. She was very open to questions and very caring and understanding. I would recommend anyone and everyone to consult her for their opthalmological needs.
I'm very happy for the service I have been received. Excellent. It is so convenient
I was treated with care and courtesy. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and felt comfortable doing so. I have over 45 yrs exp. In health care and I know when a Dr. has your best interest as part of her agenda. Thank you Dr. Khan and associates.
very professional, caring and good listener.
DR.Sameena Khan and her staff was very professional. We did not have more than a 5 minute wait time before being seen. I like the atmosphere and the assistant was excellent. We will definitely be back.
I very rarely write reviews but after my experience with Dr. Khan's office, I felt obliged to. When I arrived at the office, although I was the only patient in the office, I waited over 30 minutes before I was finally seen by the doctor's assistant. My exam by the doctor's assistant was fine. She was nice and seemed competent. She told me that the doctor might request that I come back for a "special glaucoma test" which did not seem odd to me at the time because I noted in my paperwork that I had glaucoma in my family history. She said that this test, IF the doctor recommended it, would cost extra. As I waited for my pupils to dilate, two other patients came, were seen by the doctor, and left. After about 40 minutes, I asked the office staff if my visit would be much longer because I had to go back to work. Only then did they seem to hurry, and I was seen by the doctor. When I walked into Dr. Khan's exam room, she had a sandwich out on her desk and her hair was disheveled, with some bits of bread stuck in it (no joke). At the time, this bothered me a bit because I found it unprofessional and I was already annoyed at how long I had been at the office (over an hour and a half at this point, and I was only just seeing Dr. Kham). However, I honestly just decided to be understanding. Everyone needs to eat breakfast right? Also, I will admit that Dr. Kham was nice and had a pleasing bedside manner. She examined me and then told me that she would want me to come back to get the "special glaucoma test." When I said that I wasn't surprised as I have two family members with mild glaucoma, she was surprised and looked at my paperwork only to say "oh yeah, it says it right here." At that point, I was upset because she clearly didn't even look at my family history until I prompted her. Nor did she ask me any questions about my eyesight, family history, or general health. All of this is inappropriate and careless for any diagnostician, especially if you suspect the patient might have some sort of illness. Further, I had just had the pressure in my eyes checked the year prior and it was completely normal. At this point, I started to feel like this glaucoma test was just a way to get another copay and additional money out of me (since my eyes were already dilated, why couldn't the test have been done at the same visit? There were no other patients in the waiting room so it's not like they were booked up for the day). I made a follow up appointment when I left but felt uncomfortable with how my visit went and ended up canceling the appointment. Unfortunately, my negative experience didn't stop there. When I purchased new glasses last week, the store I went to contacted Dr. Khan's office for my prescription and was told that they had no patient by my name. When I called the doctor's office, I was told that they did not have my prescription on file and should just use my current glasses. I explained to them that the store required the physical prescription in order to provide me with a warranty on my lenses. Dr. Kham told her office assistant that even though I had seen her two weeks prior, if I wanted a prescription I would have to come in and pay an additional copay for another visit. She told me that I should have asked for a prescription when I came last time. In fact, I had asked for one but was told that the store should just use my current glasses. I was told that Dr. Khan "wanted it done this way" and that I could come in only if I was willing to pay for an additional visit even though she understood that "this situation [was] very frustrating for me." This situation is more than just frustrating to me. I understand that doctors need to make money, but I hate feeling as if a doctor does not feel at all compelled to provide satisfactory customer service. It would have been a simple, appropriate, and courteous action for the doctor to simply see me to write a prescription, especially as I was a new patient to their office. It would have been an act of good will that would have gone a long way towards making me feel more comfortable scheduling a follow up visit in the future. That will absolutely not happen now and I encourage any other patients to avoid this office, if only because it is important that doctor's understand that part of their work IS customer service and that their patients are more than just potential copays.
This is my second time with Dr. Khan. She has a excellent bedside manner, very attentive and the staff are very pleasant! Definitely will recommend Dr. Khan to my family and friends.
It was a good visit. The staff and the doctor were friendly and knowledgeable. The overall housekeeping of the facility could be improved.
Dr. Sameena Khan was great. I felt very comfortable with her, she as a great personality. Her staff was very professional, friendly, they provided great customer service, they greeted me with a smile and seemed very sincere about what they were doing. I know great customer service when I see it and experience it.
It was good and was treated well.
Horrible experience. Waited about an hour to be seen, they dilated my pupils and then I had to wait another 2 hours to see the doctor. As a result I was late to pick up my child from school because this appointment took so long. Never going to that place again.
Great service, Dr Sameena is an excellent doctor and a compassionate humble person.
Very good profesional. She dedicate a lot of time in my case. Very good person. I found this professional on internet because we from louisiana and was passing by.
Dr.Khan and her staff are wonderful. I've recommended Dr.Khan to my friends and family. Thank you.
Dr. Khan and her staff was Great! They all were very thorough with their work and very sensitive to my daughter and I problem and needs. Dr. Khan was very friendly and very patient with my daughter and gave a thorough examination and recommendation. I would recommend her to anyone in need of eye care. Thank You Dr Khan and Staff - all of you were GREAT!!! ??
The visit was very pleasant and everything that was going to be done on my eye exam was explained thorouly to me.
It was great. The staff are very friendly and professional.
She very nice and she knows what she's doing. Also the staff working there are very friendly.
I think Dr. Khan's front office staff is the best i've encountered. They are friendly, polite, and try to make you comfortable. They aren't condesending or rude, which is most front staff. The ladies are wonderful! Dr. Khan is also extremely friendly and she really makes herself available to you. I had to get a prescription change on a Saturday night and the office was closing. She gave me her personal cell phone number to have the pharmacy call her if there were any issues. She is amazing!
Everybody in the clinic are very nice especially the person who wears PURPLE scrubs when we went there on 10/10/14(I forgot her name) she is really good with kids. I just wish they also have equipments for little girls I would be willingly eager to come back eventhough it's way far from my place. Don't worry they are fully equipped for ages like 6yrs old and above. The clinic is nice and clean, the doctor and everybody else are accommodating. All in all very good.
she is a very caring doctor.
it was great!
waste of time, she examine my eyes said only need on the counter reading glasses said my vision good but still feel my eyes blur won't recommend her after leaving she called me to ask if i was going to make my appointment i reply you already seen me. No more to say go else where
She was really nice and personable as well as her assistant. I would definitely go back
It was informative and helpful
I arrived on time but guess short of staff like most places I was seen almost 2 hours after arrival, the place is too crowded and very unprofessional front desk girls smh in disgust.
Dr. Khan was very patient, caring, and professional. She took her time with me and listened. There should be more Dr's like her in this world. Thank you Dr. in showing kindness to me as a patient. Her assistant was just as professional, caring and very helpful in answering my questions and making me feel comfortable.
Very good visit. Dr khan explained everything, easy going, and made me feel comfortable.
very friendly and professional.
Dr. Khan, was attentive, pleasant, and thorough with my eye examination. Very professional.
Waited for over a half hour. Rude receptionists. Would not recommend.
The medical assistant, Cheray, was personable, skilled and stayed helpful from greeting to good-bye. Dr.Khan showed a personal interest in using my name and inquiring of my family. She gave me a battery of tests and delivered the results immediately afterwards. My several questions were well received and answered fully. A fruitful and satisfying visit with the opthalmologist.
DR. Khan and staff were all very sweet. Went in for my first eye exam ever and they made it a breeze.
She is really personable and thorough about what she is doing. It was a great visit.
Very informative and detailed.
Dr. Kahn was friendly, professional, and very thorough. I felt very comfortable in her care and would highly recommend her.
Very thorough, friendly and explains what she is doing. Highly recommend her.
She took the time to address all of my concerns to my satisfaction, and we were able to come to consensus on everything.
Very knowledgeable and I will have my family go to her.
She was generally fine; but I felt as if she purposefully scheduled a follow-up when we could have taken care of a small stye immediately. I was also surprised that she did not seem to have all necessary equipment for a glaucoma exam readily available.
Warm, friendly, and professional.
Very nice and caring. Spent a lot of time with patient and did all tests/equipment by herself.
She was very friendly and did a great job. I would recommended her highly.
Very nice atmostere, Good bedside manner, Doctor was very pleasant
Sameena Khan was extremely helpful. While I did have to wait a significant while to be seen, she more than made up for the wait with her friendly demeanor and thorough exam. I went in due to an eye infection, and left having decided to make her my primary ophthalmologist. I would highly recommend her to others.
There was an emergency with another patient do I waited forever. But it was totally worth it. Dr. Khan is absolutely lovely and a wonderful eye doctor. Totally going back.
Very nice and efficient.
She was super attentive and a great Dr. She took her time with me and that could explain the long wait.
She seem like a very smar doctor and she is a very nice lady. Gray staff also.
She is lovely Dr and very friendly ,if I need her certain i go back to her. Thanks Dr Sameena Khan
Very sensitive to my needs as a diabetic. Great communications and she exhibited great insight into potential problem areas given my medical condition. Would highly recommend her to others.
When I got to see the doctor, she was great, but the first time I arrived, I was told that the doctor wasn't going to be there until the afternoon, even though I made an appointment on ZocDoc. Then, when I went for a follow-up, the entire office was closed, even though I was on time for the appointment.
My recent visit to Dr.khan’s office was a pleasant one. Her office staff was professional and courteous and friendly. Even for a new patient, waiting time was less than 20 minutes. During my checkup, Dr. Sameena Khan patiently and carefully explained all the investigative procedures and equipment she used. Dr. khan took me through a thorough and extensive eye check-up and helped put to rest the health concerns and questions I had expressed. I am very much looking forward to my next office visit. Also,as an aside, Dr. Sameena Khan is very attractive!
Awful all around experience. Complete waste of time and accomplished nothing. Two hours of my life that I will never get back. Also found the office to be unsanitary.
Dr. Khan was amazing! Friendly, attentive and clear as well as concerned about preventative care. I highly recommend her.
Very good bedside manner. Didn't feel rushed.
The assistant did not speak English well and could not answer my questions. She was the one who tested my vision, which did not make me feel comfortable. Despite being the only patient, I had to wait 10 min to even be taken back for my appt and then another 10 between the assistant and the doctor. The staff in the lobby is unprofessional as well in terms of paying more attention to lunch, Google and one another than work. Would not recommend.
Incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The best medical office experience I have had in New York City.
Very Nice and Professional.
A great experience.
she is so kind and friendly and the staff too.
Nice office and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Khan is warm and answers any questions you ask her with ease. I feel good going there.
very clean office and good quick care. Nice staff as well
I went to see Dr. Kahn today for the first time. Dr. Kahn was very professional and thorough. She had a very warm demeanor and explained everything in detail to me. I'll definitely be returning to her as a patient.
