About Dr. Samuel Gettler

Dr. Gettler is a a board-certified dermatologist. He opened his office in Stamford, CT in October of 2006 to provide dermatology services to the greater Stamford community. All patients are seen and cared for by Dr. Gettler who does not employ physician extenders. Dr. Gettler is pleased to accept most major private insurance plans and Medicare and is able to offer fair fees for patients with no insurance or state-sponsored plans or for patients paying at the time of service (prompt payment discount). As more area dermatologists restrict their hours for medical dermatology patients, drop insurance plans, and utilize physician extenders to provide medical services, Dr. Gettler offers a personalized and convenient way to have your dermatology needs provided by a board-certified physician.
Dr. Gettler received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He attended New York Medical College for residency where he served as Chief Resident. He has published articles on the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and pyoderma gangrenosum.
Dr. Gettler is a member of the Connecticut State and Fairfield County Medical Societies, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, and the American Board of Dermatology; he is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Connecticut.
Dr. Gettler resides in Wilton with his wife and three children.
