Initially I didn’t know how the visits would help me with my PTSD, Anxiety, nightmares, etc. so I was a bit nervous and perhaps withdrawn. However, each visit with Dr. Cortez made me feel more comfortable with opening up and expressing my thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. And while I am far from perfect, I can honestly say that my visits with Dr. Cortez have had a profound impact with me thus far which has benefited me both personally and professionally! I think anyone who visits with her will be glad they did and will feel much better for it. That’s because while she is a good listener, she also gave me the tools I needed to help me outside our visits whenever I found myself in a situation that was triggering any of my issues.

Dr. Sandra Cortez is amazing at what she does, really attentive, understand my problems and always have a solution, always a positive attitude and frequently has a smile on her face and you can tell she enjoys what she does, she always comes up with creative problem solving!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist helping clients feel more in control of their circumstances and lives.
It's very easy and common to feel anxious, depressed and overwhelmed by trying to manage a busy and demanding life, but you don't have to continue on that path.
I have helped clients dealing with similar issues gain a better handle on their lives by understanding common triggers, emotional reactions and behaviors that get in the way from a life they want to live.
While we learn certain patterns of behaviors, thoughts and emotions, we can unlearn problematic behaviors and learn more helpful ways to navigate life.
