What should a new client know about working with you?

Within 24 hours of your appointment request, I require a brief phone consultation to discuss your needs and goals. This helps ensure that we are a good fit and that I can provide the support you are seeking. During our first session, we’ll review what to expect from therapy, discuss what brought you to counseling, and begin identifying your goals. You’re encouraged to ask questions, as feeling comfortable and supported is an important part of the therapeutic process. It may take a few sessions to clarify your goals and determine the best approach for your needs. Our early sessions will focus on building trust, developing a collaborative relationship, and creating a plan to support your growth and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The goals you set can feel overwhelming to face alone, and that’s often why people come to therapy. I help you break those goals into manageable steps so you can build real momentum. We’ll start small, focus on achievable changes, and help you feel supported and empowered—one step at a time.
