After completing my medical and psychiatric training, I felt I needed to continue the expansion of my own consciousness, and this included searching for more expansive views of health and healing. So,I practice integrative psychiatry and psychotherapy and use traditional medication as well.
I wanted to include complementary medicine options that were safe, effective and cleared the path toward inner freedom, purpose and joy.
Patients pay me directly for treatment and if they desire I can give them a super-bill insurance form to submit to their insurance provider for direct reimbursement
Training after medical school,in psychiatry-psychosynthesis-transpersonal healing, homeopathy, nutritional support, energy medicine, TFT,and addiction later served to complement and round out my medical education, providing me with valuable tools to use in an integral approach to wellness.
Homeopathy treats the totality of the whole person rather than focusing on a diseased part. The medications are made from natural substances (releasing an energetic vibration - not herbal medicine) prepared according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States. the Law of Similars, or "like cures like," is utilized to determine which remedy can best stimulate one's vital force or natural healing process
Psychosynthesis is a form of psychotherapy that works with the personality and honors that we are all spiritual beings as well.
I continue to study new safe Energy Medicine-(Body/Mind/Spirit) healing methods, such B.A.H.-Innovative Medicine, DNA resonance and Heart-centered approaches.

Two things to note
1) Insurance will not work
2) she prescribes Homeopathic medic . (I find is not effective) .

Most of the visit itself was OK, but at the end of the visit she provided me with literature on homeopathy that made me realize that she relies on the placebo effect for any drug/pharmacological/chemical treatment. She *might* be good in her psychological treatments, but I went to a psychiatrist specifically so that I could get my medications changed if needed and it was clear to me she wasn't going to do that. She later told me that she told me about homeopathy to give me hope for a solution. I was open to homeopathy until I read the literature she provided. At that point I had zero hope for a homeopathic solution, and I had zero confidence that she could help me. The only useful information I got from my consultation was that I now know I will never go to any doctor who subscribes to homeopathy. I thought all those doctors were O.D.'s but apparently there are M.D.'s who also use those methods as well.
