The only reason the wait was so long was because I had paperwork to fill out and got there right on time for my appointment instead of coming a little early. Sandra's definitely a straight-shooter, but would you want anything else with a gynecologist? She likes to spend a lot of time with her patients, which I also appreciate. I'd definitely recommend her to a friend or family member.

Dr. Quartner was great! My wait was a little long; but given the fact she was working all alone. Yes by herself! She was seeing patients as well as running her front desk.(Her help had called out on her for the day) Although clearly under pressure she was still very kind, through, and answered all my questions.

Sandra Quartner is a detail-oriented and compassionate obstetrician and gynecologist based in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Quartner earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland and accomplished her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same institution. She is Board-certified and holds a Maryland State License to practice medicine. She treats patients ages 11 and up and only sees pregnancy patients during the 1st trimester of the pregnancy.
In addition to her solo practice, Dr. Quartner serves as an assistant professor of gynecology and obstetrics at Johns Hopkins University. She is also a member of the Maryland OB-GYN Society, the Medical & Chirurgical Society of Maryland, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Some of the procedures Dr. Quartner performs hysterectomies, laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic tubal ligation, and endometrial ablations.

My experience with this clinic was absolutely horrible. My issue wasn't so much with the wait time but it was the lack of bedside manners of Dr. Quartner. This was my first experience ever visiting an Obgyn and it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. I had so many questions and she seemed annoyed whenever I would ask a question. I left my appointment with the same questions and concerns that I entered my appointment with. Another issue was that the walls seem to be paper thin I can hear the entire conversation that she was having with a patient next door to me. Overall she was a nice lady but she wasn't very helpful and lacked compassion.

The examine was a nightmare. It was so hurtful that the pain from uterus and ovary has continued for over a day already and it has not seen any better. I regret so much to make this appointment.

I thought Dr. Quartner could have been a little nicer as she inquired if I had any questions for her. Maybe it was my own nerves but I got the impression that because I did not have a specific question, and I was 'unreasonably nervous' (despite this being my First time in a OBGY appointment) I could have been expecting a more invasive or aggressive questionnaire. The receptionist Ms. Susan was more friendly. Not sure if I will come back. I suppose that Dr. Quartner just did not know me as well, so that could have been the reason for the not-so friendly reception I received.

Seems like she needs to retire. Far from compassionate, stuck in the daily routine, has forgotten that patients are real people. I felt uncomfortable emotionally and physically; her exam was oddly painful and she was extremely unpersonable.

I like that she really took the time to ask me questions and understand my concerns. I did not feel rushed, which cannot be said about my previous visit with a different gynecologist.

Dr. Quartner seems very seasoned in her field and also is knowledgeable and willing to give her professional opinion on health matters that may not be thought of as a part of her duty as gynecologist. I think I'll be a patient of hers for as long as possible.

Office was a little hard to find in the medical complex. Office seems a little outdated (handwritten charts, etc). Doctor was great, answered questions and had a likable demeanor.

Dr. Quartner is extremely knowledgable and will talk to you about your overall well being as well as your ob gyn needs. She delivered my two children and I would recommend her to my friends and family members.
