Dr. Moretsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KUCMB). He is a certified specialist in Ophthalmology: a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology (M.D. Board), and a Diplomat of the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology (D.O. Board).
Nationally Dr. Moretsky is past President of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. He served two terms on the Board of Trustees of KCUMB as Chairman of the Research and Medical Affairs Committee. He is a Fellow of, and served consecutive terms on the Advisory Council of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). He has been awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for Meritorious Achievement. He is also certified in refractive surgery by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance.
Locally, Dr. Moretsky is a past President of the Phoenix Ophthalmologic Society and also served in a leadership position on the Board of Trustees of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. Most recently, Dr. Moretsky received the President’s Award by the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Moretsky is an Active Member of the Arizona Ophthalmologic Society. He has been in practice in Arizona since 1978 and is an expert eye surgeon. As a refractive surgeon, Dr. Moretsky performs iLASIK, advanced surface treatments and implantable contact lenses (ICL).
