I am a patient advocate and educator.
I love the opportunities I get on a daily basis to communicate with women about their health and bodies. From coaching a woman through normal (or not-so-normal) aches and pains of pregnancy; discussing issues of sex, contraception, and fertility; helping women through the transitions of menopause; and counseling patients about treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical.
My care for patients begins with listening to their problems, concerns, and wishes. I use a combination of current literature, evidence-based-medicine, and complementary and integrative solutions. I help guide a patient towards decision and treatment options that will solve or minimize their problem and optimize their quality of life.
I believe a strong partnership is at the core of achieving the best clinical outcomes.
