Sarah Gavens is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She received a bachelors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Denver College of Nursing. She graduated with honors from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus with her Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Sarah’s passion for medicine lies in the relationships that she builds with her patients. She believes in holistic care, marrying medicine with lifestyle management and loves to work collaboratively with her patients to find their best course of treatment. Sarah’s background is in internal medicine; she appreciates clinic medicine for the opportunity to form lasting connections. She enjoys helping her patients maintain optimal health and watching them improve over time.
When not at work, Sarah loves spending time with her family. She is fond of traveling and being outdoors, including hiking and paddle boarding. After growing up in Florida, Sarah enjoys spending time around water in any way she can. When she’s not adventuring with her family, Sarah spends her time reading and creating art.
