About Claire Diamant-Yefet

Claire Diamant-Yefet, owner and nurse practitioner at Health Now, attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned a BA in Psychology with plans to pursue a master's in counseling. However, she decided she wanted to treat the whole body and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Denver College of Nursing. Claire further advanced her education by completing a Master's in Family Nursing at Simmons University.
She began her nursing career after moving to Florida for two years to be closer to the ocean, which she loves! In Florida, she worked as a pediatric oncology nurse. Her love for kids drew her to this challenging yet deeply fulfilling field, where she helped children and their families fighting for a cure. Claire then became a travel RN and moved to New York to explore the Big Apple. While in NYC, she worked on the general pediatric unit at Weill Cornell Hospital, caring for school-aged children as well as babies.
Her next contract took her to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, returning to her original stomping ground-a place she loved. ?Patients with cancer face major obstacles and tremendously hard life changes. They learn to truly appreciate life, and you can feel that from their energy. It's very sad and hard but truly a special field to have grown in.? Claire has stayed in touch with many of her patients to this day and sees them when she visits New York with her husband and 18-month-old daughter-her husband is from New York!
