She is very thorough which I LOVE! I never feel uncomfortable around her and always like that she is overly cautious about questionable moles. She's very gentle if she has to remove a mole as well.

Sarah grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and completed her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College. She performed clinical research at UCSF and then went on to obtain her M.D. at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. She served her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and then returned to the top ranked University of Michigan dermatology department to complete her three-year residency in Dermatology. Sarah is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She joined the practice of Elizabeth and William Gould in 2006.

I've been seeing Dr. Jacobson for 4 years now. She is always professional, caring, and listens to all my concerns. She takes care of minor procedures (e.g. shave biopsies) right in the appointment, so I don't have to schedule another visit.
I'll keep going to her for all my dermatology needs while I'm in the area!

I came in to check several moles on my arms and back. The office is nice, clean, and quiet. I got seen almost immediately. Dr. Jacobson patiently listen to my concerns and evaluate them with great care. Good thing all of them are benign. I will definitely come back to Dr. Jacobson again. Highly recommended.

I've been to six other dermatologist in the area that didn't work out. I'm very easy going, but finding a good derma is not easy around here, I really liked my first visit with Dr. J. She was very caring, personal, and professional.
