Sarah Kureshi is a capable and attentive physician based in Washington, D.C. She received her medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Kureshi graduated from the Harvard School of Public Health, receiving an M.P.H., in International Health. Dr. Kureshi is serving her medical student and residents, in addition to serving her patients, as an Assistant Professor in the Georgetown University Department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Kureshi is a polyglot fluent in Urdu and Hindi. Her awareness of these different languages makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Dr. Kureshi’s clinical interests include preventative medicine, health & human rights, and refugee/immigrant health. She is attentive to her patients’ concerns and tailors her treatment plans to accommodate their individual needs and comfort.

Dr. Kureshi was smart and thorough, attentive to my needs, though she seemed quite pressed for time. I don't get the sense that she is always quite as busy. My partner sees her too and has had the opposite experience, in that regard. Looking forward to making another appointment.

Dr Sarah Kureshi was thorough in reviewing my case after she examined me. She took a holistic perspective in treating me and she advised me how to proceed with my diet and exercise as well as with further consultations. she took hert time and I was not rushed. I highly recommend her.
