I have been seeing Dr. Nakib for almost a year and I drive for an hour to see her and it is extremely worth it. She is kind, smart, and hey- my skin looks better than ever in my life and I am almost 40 years old. People ask what my secret is and I tell them its Dr. Nakib. Do yourself a favor and see this special dermatologist. Your skin will clear up and the years roll back.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Nakib and her staff. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and empathetic doctor. I immediately felt at ease with her and comfortable with her diagnosis and course of treatment. The office is very clean, bright and contemporary without feeling sterile. Free parking is fabulous! Her staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Dr. Nakib made sure to address all my questions and concerns and her staff made sure I had an easy check-in and checkout and provided clear instructions for post care and follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Nakib and look forward to continuing to see her as my dermatologist.

Dr. Sarah Nakib is a board certified dermatologist with the American Board of Dermatology. She grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota before coming to this region. She received her medical training at the University of Minnesota, where she also completed her residency in dermatology and internal medicine and served as Chief Resident her final year. After graduating, she worked at Johns Hopkins as an Assistant Professor in the department of dermatology. Dr. Nakib has also received fellowship training at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia and holds a Masters in Public Health. During residency, she received awards from the Society for Investigative Dermatology, Medical Dermatology Society, Botswana-University of Pennsylvania Partnership Program, and Women’s Dermatologic Society.
She enjoys treating every day skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and warts, as well as complicated rashes such as those related to hives or autoimmunity. She also enjoys managing skin cancers and cosmetics. She is a fellow with the American Academy of Dermatology and the Washington D.C. Dermatologic Society.
Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, biking, and exploring local parks and places with family and friends.

I have a found my new dermatologist! Dr. Nakib has treated myself and my young daughter for various dermatological issues, and we could not be more pleased with her care. She is gentle and kind, but also confident in her decision-making which helps put me at ease. My daughter had a procedure done that is a bit painful, and Dr. Nakib was patient and took her time treating the problem, while trying to comfort a nervous 8 year old. I have struggled with skin issues for a long time, and with Dr. Nakib's treatment plan, my skin looks better than ever! She is also cost-conscious, so we were able to come up with a plan using both prescription medications and in-office products/procedures that best fit my budget; super important to me!! We have visited the office a few times now, and Dr. Nakib always remembers us and picks up where our last conversation left off; it really shows that she genuinely cares about her patients and has an interest in developing a relationship with us. Her staff always goes above and beyond to help, starting with the first phone call to make an appointment. The office is modern, clean, and has a very calming feel to it. I will definitely recommend her to friends and family! Thanks Dr. Nakib!!

Great experience at this office. All the staff were very friendly and a very clean environment. I had something on my scalp that Dr. Nakib was able to remove nicely and with ease. I also had a skin exam that was very thorough and professional. She is very knowledgeable and I feel very comfortable with her taking care of my skin concerns. I highly recommend.

Great consultation - Dr. Nakib was very knowledgeable about my conditions and knew what to prescribe. I have seen 2 other dermatologists and I feel most confident with her. I had to get blood work done and a prescription filled and was able to do so all in the same building saving a ton of time. I will be continuing to see Dr. Nakib and the facility for future visits.

Waited for 45 minutes for doctor. She apologized for wait time when she came in but then gave a not-so-thorough exam. She told me things that were not helpful, such as recommending a brand that I already said did not work for me. She quickly gave me a sheet of paper and marked down things that I should avoid, including things that I told her did help my skin in the past. Given her positive reviews, I was very disappointed. I won’t be coming back and will be seeing another dermatologist instead.

The whole visit went very well from start to finish - the receptionist, Veronica, was incredibly kind and professional, and answered all of my questions, my wait time was incredibly short, which is rare, and having to see several specialist on a regular basis I have a lot of experience with doctors offices and wait times - this was by far the best wait time I've had, and finally, Dr. Sarah Nakib was great! She was very efficient with checking my skin and giving me a diagnosis, and she answered all of the questions I had about my diagnosis and provided me with options from which to choose for treatment. I am very happy indeed with my experience with this office and will keep going back there for all of my dermatological needs.

Great first time experience. The receptionist, Veronica, was the sweetest. Dr. Nakib had excellent bedside manner and was professional. She addressed my needs quickly. Nurse who numbed me did great and overall procedure was quick. Beautiful office - modern and clean. Office very tricky to find. If you enter through the first building (in front of Main St.), take elevator to level G. Once on that floor, walk down the hallway, make a left until you see another elevator ahead of you. Take that to level 3.

The staff was very friendly and Dr. Nakib was very knowledgeable and personable. She diagnosed my skin problem with ease and treated my lesion. She was also very thorough with my exam. The paperwork took a bit of time to fill, but once I was done with it, it didn’t take too long for me to be roomed and see the doctor. It seems like they were terribly overbooked. The waiting room had two people waiting before me and when I came out there were 4+ people waiting to be helped. My appointment was at 2:45 and I finally saw the doctor at 3:40. Her advice was not very helpful but I probably would've been less frustrated if I hadn't waited so long. At least she was nice.

I came here because Urgent Care was stumped, and my primary doctor was unavailable for weeks. This doctor did not have time to deal with me. She took a quick glance at my rash and didn't know what it was so she called it poison ivy. She prescribed an optional topical ointment that was hundreds of dollars and said I could use it for two days, and she prescribed an oral steroid. I opted not to blow the money on the cream since it was optional. I took the pred as prescribed but when I reduced the dosage as directed after a week the rash returned overnight. I called and the nurse said go back to original dose. I took the remaining pills and when I called in for more because I needed to taper from the pred the nurse said they could not prescribe more. They called in another ointment and told me to take Benadryl. They said it was not their problem since I'd only seen them two weeks before, since the rash had been ongoing for much longer. I mentioned that stopping pred cold turkey was ill advised and she agreed, but did not care. The rash returned full force. The ointment arrived in the mail which did absolutely nothing. I cannot take Benadryl because I drive for work. I'm stuck using Calamine lotion to get through the day. I have now had this rash for almost three months. This doctor did not care whatsoever. I'd stay away if I were you.

I was a little late trying to find the location (so be sure to buffer in time to figure the building out). Dr. Nakib addressed all of my problems, and is very friendly and has great bedside manner! Being pregnant, my options for medicines are limited, and she walked me through them all! My skin is already looking better a day later (acne), and my awful poison ivy rash is diminishing!

I am very happy with my first appointment with Dr. Sarah Nakib! She was able to see me for BOTH acne and checking my moles for skin cancer in the same appointment. I had experiences in the past with other dermatologists that refused to do both in the same appintment. She also listened to me and was very knowledgable. I am very happy with my experience and look forward to having Dr. Nakib as my dermatologist in the future!

She was super nice, very informative and in-depth about treatment options and the medication I would be on, and I did not feel pressured to go on any plans that were out of my budget. She answered my questions and the process was pleasant. Did wait about 40min for the appointment which included the client forms, but both the doctor and front desk were nice and I didn't mind. Today was my first visit to Dr. Nakib's office, and it was wonderful. I only waited about 10 minutes to be seen, and the lobby area where I waited was clean and relaxing. Once I was called back, Dr. Nakib saw me almost right away, and she was very patient and helpful. I have struggled with dermatologists in the past and feel that Dr. Nakib really made an effort to understand my needs and prescribe the best course of treatment. The doctor was really nice and gave me a lot of information. She could tell what my symptoms were and she diagnosed me rather quickly. I brought a lot of products that I had been using and she used them to look at the ingredients and help me more accurately. She was really kind and even gave me samples of products to use to continue helping me in the future. Nice and spa-like atmosphere and very modern. The receptionist was quick and great at her job as well.
