The doctor had a delivery earlier that day and alerted the staff that she would be arriving around 10 am, but I drove 40 minutes from my home and no one thought to call me to let me know not to come at 9 am. I got there and was told to come back at 10:45 am. The one nurse that did the usual vital check was kind to me and the doctor was kind and informative. The office staff could work better on communication and hospitality but other than that the doctor was great.

She is friendly, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. I recently moved and wanted a doctor close to home, so I booked appointments with 3 different ones to choose from. Dr. Nelson won, hands down, with flying colors! She and all of her staff are absolutely WONDERFUL!!!

Dr. Nelson is originally from Texas where she completed a Bachelor in Science from Baylor University. Following her undergraduate degree, she attended St George's School of Medicine, where she completed her clinical training in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Nelson found a love for Obstetrics and Gynecology and a home in New Jersey during her time at St George's. Dr. Nelson then joined the great tradition of St. Barnabas OBGYN and completed residency in Livingston, NJ. During residency, Dr. Nelson was able to participate in medical mission trips, including a trip to Haiti with Dr. Ernani Sadural.

Dr. Nelson is a very caring and in my case was very accurate with her diagnosis. Her staff also is great. I came in with what I thought was a major issue and she assured me it was not. She issued me a prescription and problem solved. I am about 1-1/2 hours drive away, but it does not matter, It is worth the drive to know that my care are in her capable hands.
