Sarah Stone has been practicing midwifery for over ten years and has caught hundreds of babies. She received her bachelors in biology at Barnard College in New York City and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Midwifery at the Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, Connecticut. As a new midwife she practiced in Iowa, where she met her husband Scott. After a few years they moved to Denver to be closer to Sarah’s family and the mountains. Since settling in Colorado Sarah has practiced at Lutheran Hospital, Mountain Midwifery Center, and now South Denver Midwives. In her practice she likes to give a broad range of recommendations for both prenatal and gynecological problems that include nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, and medication. She uses a holistic approach and enjoys partnering with women to help them achieve their health goals. In addition to working as a midwife she enjoys live music, movies, snowboarding and gardening. She lives in Centennial with her husband and two hilarious sons.
