He then completed his residency at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He further continued his studies and completed a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Durrani went ahead and completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at George Washington University Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in genetics at Children's National Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Durrani is a part of WHC Cardiac Electrophysiology and he is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also affiliated with MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
