New patients, please arrive 15 mins prior to your appointment to complete the necessary paperwork. Scott Amzler grew up in central Massachusetts where he attended The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
He worked as a Registered Nurse in MA until transferring to Long Island where he worked on the cardiac / stroke unit at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson for 7 years. During that time he earned his Master of Science, becoming an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook University. Scott went on to specialize in pulmonary/internal medicine for the next 3 years before joining the team at Allen Medical Associates. He is excited about a larger role in serving the community.
When Scott is not working he is enjoying time with his twin toddlers, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
