The doctor was great. Very friendly and helpful when I had questions. Don’t bother filling out the check in forms online as I had to do them all (and then some) when I arrived for my appointment. Took them just about an hour past my scheduled appointment time to see me and there was maybe one person getting their eyes checked before me.

Dr. Bartlett OD, grew up in sunny southern California. He studied Human Biology and Psychology at University of California, San Diego and played an active role as vice president of Insight the pre-optometry club on campus. Upon graduation, he attended UC Berkeley to pursue his doctor of Optometry degree. While at Cal optometry, Dr. Bartlett was actively involved with Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (VOSH). He helped organize and lead in mission trips providing donated eyeglasses to under served communities in Panama and Peru.
After graduation, he completed a 1-year residency with Indian Health Services at the Crownpoint Indian Hospital providing care the Navajo nation in New Mexico. After residency, Dr. Bartlett continued working in public health service providing care to two native American tribes near Albuquerque, New Mexico for 5 years.
Dr. Bartlett recently went to Colorado in 2018 looking for outdoor adventures and new opportunities including new places to go running. Dr. Bartlett is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Bartlett has verbal fluency for eye exams in Spanish and enjoys providing care to patients of ages!

I've been struggling with eye redness that won't go away for a few months. I came seeking answers and a solution. This doctor spent maybe 10 minutes tops diagnosing me and without any empathy or bedside manner training proceeds to tell me that my redness is permanent and "not a big deal". If it wasn't a big deal for me, I wouldn't have come to the doctor. I've been crying for an hour in my car shocked at the non chalant way in which he told me I was out of luck and to consider myself lucky that it wasn't anything worse. Go somewhere else. This isn't how a doctor should communicate with patients.

I didn’t like the parking, however my overall experience was great. I’m new to the city so I had apprehensions meeting a new doc. The office staff was chill and efficient. Scott was more attentive of my medical history and things to be aware of with my conditions. I left feeling I understood my eyes more and confident with my results. I’d go back. I should of asked if there was dedicated (free) parking but I paid $2 for street parking. No biggie, but would of sucked if I didn’t have change for the meter.

So wonderful. It was my first eye exam so I have nothing to compare to it, but the person who saw him before myself was tlaking to the receptionist and saying how much better his visit was from other places. He felt heard and so did I.
