I have been a Registered Nurse for eleven years with diverse experience in cardiovascular, renal, nutrition, holistic approaches, and functional fitness. I pursued a degree in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University and led case managers across the nation for high-risk, highly complex patients. Wanting more patient engagement, I completed my Advanced Nurse Practitioner training, which has given him a broader scope in preventative and functional medicine. My love for teaching and medical knowledge guides me in relaying complex medical problems into easily digestible solutions for my patients.
Health is not a siloed system. We are highly complex and diverse machines that need to be in balance. Oftentimes, our mental health gets overlooked in medicine and that can severely impact our positive outcomes. Treating an individual clinically, means looking at the whole picture and identifying what is in their best interest mentally, physically, and spiritually.
In my free time, I love to be active outdoors with my two children and dog. Hiking is a must, bike riding, going for long walks, and anything that gives me a great view that challenges me.
