Dr. Scott Emely has practiced in the Atlanta area since 2006 where he completed his residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta through the University of Alabama- Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Emely received his undergraduate in 2001 and doctorate from Indiana University in 2006. In addition, he recently became board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Emely is a member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association, National Glaucoma Society and the Trustee from the Metro Atlanta District of the Georgia Optometric Association. He is the current President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, learning new languages, trying new restaurants, and watching college basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. He loves spending time with his wife Gina, who is also an optometrist and their baby boy, Max, born in January 2012. He currently resides in Dunwoody.
